"I would love to give feedback regarding her counseling, but unfortunately we never made it into her office before we left the building. We were told to arrive early for paperwork, which we did. Our appointment was at 2 and by 2:15 we still had not seen a soul or filled out paperwork or even greeted. I had to walk down the hall yell out hello for her to come out of another session that was running over. She came out very rudely and said our appointment was at 2... and then proceeded to say "we can leave if we want." Which we did. Out of all my years of therapy I have never seen someone so unprofessional."

"Off the bat the first appointment we had with Ann went HORRIBLY and resulted in my sobbing crying and her demanding me to answer questions (mind you, I was still crying, not able to answer any questions) She also tried to convince me that my anxiety may be caused by diabetes and that cutting out all sugar from my diet would get rid of all my anxiety. On top of this she blatantly ignored or shut down any of my questions or request about looking into testing for autism specifically. I was told that I could not be autistic because I was “gifted”. I was also told that I don’t have adhd and I just have ocd because I was gifted. I was also called an “argumentative child” for correcting the details of an important event. (all information stated here happened on our FIRST appointment. She had no prior knowledge of me and was making these claims based off of a first impression.) I would like to also note that the sessions I had with Ann after the fact were ok for the most part, but I did not feel as if we were getting anywhere. The session mainly consisted of her asking me random questions about my life and having me take “personality quizzes”. I didn’t mind these at all but in no way was it helping me mentally. When trying to reach out recently, my mom has gotten no response for the past couple of weeks. We have reached out for legal documents regarding CPS and booking appointments and not once has she responded. I find it HIGHLY unprofessional for a therapist to ghost their client with no explanation for their actions. The experience I had the first time should have been my warning to not come back."

"1/12/23 Response to Ann's comment: Correct, I never had a phone appointment with you but we did speak on the phone twice. My son's father told me is was taking my son to see you as his therapist AFTER HE threatened his therapist BEFORE you bc she was not forcing my son to talk about the things HE requested her to do. As a parent, I have EVERY right to know what therapist my son is seeing since his father made the decision to switch when my son had been seeing his originial therapist for 2 years. The words, "I will sue you", never came out of my mouth. That is absured. I was trying to let you know what all was going on in the mess of a litigation that was between his father and me. Most therapists would like to know if they are getting in the middle of a litigation and might be subpoenaed in court. I was trying to cover my bases for my son's wellbeing and mental health, give you a heads up on the mess that was taking place Upon learning that my son seeing you was not the truth, his father was your patient, I tried telling you that is was the misunderstanding on my part bc of what I was told, but could not get a word in edge wise due to your irratic behavior. Get your facts straight! Original review post: My first initial phone call with Ann regarding my 10 year old son was great. The second was absolutely astonishing. Not only did she start the conversation off with, "I don't have to talk to you!", she barely let me talk due to her constant talking & raising her voice, ultimately hanging up on me. She also never took the time to hear my side of events that were going on in my son's life, only his Father's side. I have dealt with patients of my own in the dental field and now customer service with the medical field, and I have never in my life had a PROFESSIONAL talk to me or treat me that way! I am hoping for other patient's sake that she was having an off day but I am thankful the courts appointed a completely different counselor to help my son. May God bless your heart Ann!"

"I have been seeing Ann beal for over 6 months. She has truly helped me so much in my life. I am thankful for her and she is the best counselor I have ever had. She is very understanding, she listens, she speaks the honest truth. When I first started seeing her I just got home oxygen. I was depressed cause my life changed over night. She guided me, she supported me. She gave me my hope back that I would get better and now today I am almost off oxygen and in such a better place cause of her. Highly recommend"

"**edit of original review** Self absorbed. You will be her therapist. She will not be yours. And she will be late every time. After I left this review Ann actually called me and left an almost 3 min voicemail making excuses for her behavior (zero accountability)- saying that her other 1 star reviews were “other competing therapists”?? And tried to persuade me to remove my review. I stand by it. She acts like her behavior is normal of a therapist, I have since found a wonderful therapist that listens and is actually on time! Self reflect Ann, it might help."
