"I took my child in for a sports physical in 2018. Service given was a basic physical. After the physical the Dr. McBride informed the lady at the front desk that the amount due was for the physical. I believe it was about $25. The clinic went back and changed the code to something else way after the service and payment were completed. I called the clinic when I received a bill of over $200, they stated they would look into it and correct the issue. Now over a year later I recieved a letter that they sent this manipulated bill to collection. The WHC in Haslet Texas is a dishonest organization. Changing service codes after service and payment is honorable! Shame!"

"This place is SO UNORGANIZED!! Took me a month to get my daughter immunizations because they initially scheduled me on a day when the nurse was not in to give the shots. Then rescheduled 2 weeks down the road and guess what, the nurse was not in that day and they chose NOT TO CALL and inform me they needed to reschedule when I was in the office for the appointment. Then we finally go in for her immunizations and the nurse doesn’t know what shots she needs to give her? Not impressed or comfortable trusting my children to this practice AT ALL. They’ve been nothing but frustrating."

"First time patient, was able to get an appointment within a couple of days. Receptionist and medical assistant were warm and friendly. I especially loved the time and attention the doctor gave me. Really felt like he cared about my health. Will be transferring other family members here ."

"After reading some of the reviews, I was somewhat skeptical about going to this Clinic ( I typically go to the Wise Clinic in Boyd). However, the Haslet Clinic was able to accommodate a same day appointment. The receptionist was warm and friendly and I did not wait longer than 5 minutes to be seen by the physician. All around great review from me."

"Receptionist is horrible, has terrible attitude and very argumentative. The nurse practitioner didn’t even leave her office, she let her student do all of the work. The student NP was very sweet and knowledgeable and even though the receptionist was rude and the NP was “hiding” I decided to give the office one more try, everyone has off days right? Wrong. Second time we showed up five minutes early, receptionist said that since we weren’t 15 minutes early we had to reschedule! Started arguing with us when I said that isn’t going to work and closed her window when I asked to speak to the doctor! Doctor came out of the room and wouldn’t even let me speak! She told us to reschedule...no way! If an appointment is scheduled for ten but you want them there at 9:45, schedule the appointment at 9:45. Ridiculous as this sounds this is apparently not how they run their clinic. This was a shot appointment that had been scheduled for many weeks, not to mention the travel time and time taken off. I said she was rude and I walked out. I sat in the parking lot and made phone calls to find another shot clinic unfortunately not the same day but we got it scheduled, then guess who knocks on my door? The police! I could not believe they called the police! The officer said I wasn’t harming anyone sitting In my car making phone calls, agreed the call was ridiculous and left. Unbelievable! Definitely a crazy day. A nine month pregnant woman with a toddler saying “you are rude” warrants a police presence?! Go to any other wise health provider, not the drama receptionist in haslet and NP in Haslet. When I scheduled my appointment with another clinic I mentioned my problems and they said they have had many other patients call and switch too, with similar stories."
