"After two years at the school, my worse concerns materialized. The Vanguard program is great, however the deteriorating social environment and cultural segregation in the school has made it a very sad place to be. Non-Spanish speaking parents who are not in the administration's social club are made to feel unwelcome. There are some staff members that you would not want your child to ever engage. If it wasn't for the Vanguard program, I would not have my child at the school. This is not a place for parents who are committed to improving their academic community for their child or parents who want a healthy diverse community for their kids. I am sadden to say the school disappointed me this year. I just take solace that the Vanguard teachers and the Vanguard community is top notch."
