Reviews
"Currently an Eighth grader and I have to say that I've enjoyed all three years I've been on this campus. I love the whole experience I have had here, and love all the friends and staff I met here as well."
"Honestly it's a good school if you like all the rude staff. Not all staff are rude but some of them are. And the way we sit at lunch is just flat out strange. They say it's because we move around the cafeteria. If we got to sit with our friends they're wouldn't be so much moving, because the only reason we move is because we wanna sit with our friends. So when they say "you get to socialize at school during lunch" just know that the only socializing there is, is when the deans yell at us."
"Oh my god this school is horrible. We are treated like inmates, and the staff is terribly rude. This is my last year and I want out. A previous review is pretty much on spot. Not the happy 6th graders'."
"honestly , some teachers there at hamiltom are really good people but most of them are rude , they carry a attiude , & then tell the deans its all us . & what im about to say isnt a lie i had a famiy member who went there & this teacher " mr palladino " touched her innopropriate , wanna know what they did . Nothing they sat there as if she was saying a lie but hamilton can do better and yes i wunder stand us kids are bad and everything some at most times i wouldnt blame you for yelling at a kid but alot of the teachers have bad attiudes , like this 6 grade dean she was soo . Rude honestly she will call you out and say such rud things . But after this expirmence . I dont know anymore i was so excited to go there but its like jail but s/o to the teachers / staff members who did care and didnt speak rudely . Hamilton is alright im sure of it that us huskies can do better ."
"Okay Google, let me give you a real review of this school that doesn't consist of preteens who submitted their review in the 6th grade. I attended Hamilton from fall 2011 to spring 2014 (s/o to "The Last Tribe 2014"). I precisely remember being so excited to have gotten accepted to the only school I had applied to (I feared going to my zoned school, Hogg Middle School). The only thing I got from this school was severe anxiety and stress, an eating disorder, horribly large insecurities and self harm. The students were treated like inmates, the school is a literal jail. The staff is so rude (s/o to Ms. Thomas tho, freakin loved her) The kids are horribly disrespectful and inappropriate with each other and their teachers. Fights were a daily thing (for THE STUPIDEST reasons (two girls fought my 8th grade year over a stupid bag of takis)) and kids were not open minded with each other whatsoever. I was bullied everyday (one kid, one BOY, made it the worst... he made it a living hell and yet he still has no clue. It was sad that even in ninth grade I got a panic attack in the hallway just because I heard someone say he might transfer to my current school, Heights HS, formerly John H. Reagan HS.) for merely sitting in my seat and staying quiet. My group was small, but who's to say they didn't like me either for whatever reason. Because of this school I went from an energetic and happy kid to being quiet and reserved in fear of someone being mean just because I said "hi." I dread this school, I dread even looking at it. High school was my savior. I am still recovering from everything, though my anxiety remains. I am still very soft spoken but I enjoy the company of the friends I have now. The only good thing I appreciate about Hamilton is helping me become the person I am today. Otherwise, dreadful school. Also, parent, your child's mental and physical health is far more important than their education. Please take care of them if you want the best for them."
