"As a Veteran, I suggest you go elsewhere. Unless you seriously want mass debt and no job opportunities, no follow up, once I graduated I haven't heard from these fools but the sure did get my whole Post 911 on top of Financial Aid as a 2 tour Veteran, my Post 911 was Fully Granted on my 1st Honorable Discharge 2nd General with Honorable but some how this Doesn't compute to "total Education Benefits" and this Some How doesnt Break Federal 90/10 rule? Either way the school was a joke, most the class was literally copying others on any written exams, it's also not hard to pass physical test if your studying for it right up until the moment you go test with a instructor. Believe I Graduated in Feb of 2012 and it's now 2024 and Every Mech job I interviewed for considered this training a joke and I was Never Hired anywhere in Texas or my Now home Michigan "
"Apperently it doesnt actually matter if something unavoidable happens to you and even if you made sacrifices just to even get back to school as fast as possible. They care about attendance more than grades, especially when the classes grading system makes it really easy to pass. I never did housing, but from what I hear its a literal scam. Another thing is that no one tells you hardly anything about how the schooling works. I didnt figure anything out until a few courses in. On top of the fact they said youd only have like 2hrs of homework everyday when its more like at least 5hrs everyday if you actually do it honestly. I dont know anyone who actually watches the videos. Because they are just uninspiring and they take forever and the videos and in class lectures are the exact same thing, so its a waste of time."
"The reason why I’m making this review is for my brother who is currently going to school here, a couple of courses ago he had a teacher name Mr.golding, and honestly I don’t have any tolerance in people who have the audacity to talk to students disrespectfully this way especially when it’s a teacher. A teacher should make a student feel good about going to school. My concern about this is why can he talk disrespectful to his students? Also my brother tried to get help from him and all he did was turn him down. I don’t think this right, and I feel like someone had to say it."
"I attended this campus from 2000 to 2002. I also participated in the Mercedes Benz & BMW Graduate Programs. When it comes to the UTI program, you get what you put into it. Were there some misleading statements made to me when I first toured the facility? Yes, there were. I soon got over them as I realized UTI is a business and it is a for profit company just like anything else. I had some really good instructors that I continued to keep in contact with after completing their class(phase) and I valued their inputs and opinions. UTI is a good baseline starting point to get into this trade. Since graduating from UTI and the Graduate Programs, I've done well for myself by continuing my education through companies I've worked for after my time there. I did work for Mercedes Benz for a while at a new dealership with another UTI grad and a very seasoned MB Tech with 30+ years at that time. After leaving that industry, I had great experiences in the Oil & Gas Industry where I traveled internationally, worked on Department of Energy Projects, and operated as an independent contractor & consultant. I'm now in my mid 40's an employed as Sales Director with an Industrial Sales and Service Company that has been in business for 74 years. I'm no on my 8th year with them and I credit my education at UTI and all the experiences I've had with other similar industries to my success today."
"Every section has given us the run around. No one answers the phone. Very unprofessional and very disappointing when someone is trying to better themselves. I had to contact the National number to get someone to answer and talk to. The people at UTI Houston just seem to be there collecting a paycheck and unwilling to help the students."
