"Not only is this a great environment, but the staff is more than willing to help you with your career. When I started the program David told me I would get a job once I finished. Right before I completed to program he already had jobs lined up for me. If you show up and show your willingness to learn, they will definitely find a place for you. I was given hands on experience learning from award winning installers. Could not have asked for a better experience and opportunity."
"Best decision anyone can make. I already had 1 year of experience in MEI, but I lacked a few skills. The MEI course was close to, if not, perfect. You will learn something new. The instructor, Jesse, is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to MEI. He is the MOST patient man that I have met. This school helps you strengthen your passion for MEI, Costom Fabrication, Costom Interior, and/or Multimedia Installation. I want to give a special thanks to Dave, and the school for helping me get back into the field by going the extra mile to insure I start working at Cartoys. Best place to start your career."
"Great school great teacher but for me it was a waste of time and money. It was not hands on like they told me. It was more read a book understand it then take a test. If you pass then we can see if we can help you get a job. This school is for people in the service that likes to take up a trade not for people that want to do this for a living."
"I am a recent graduate of Acoustic Edge Institute. I had never heard of the school before a buddy brought the catalog in one day l while I was attending UTI. I already had an interest in what the school had to offer, so we took a tour. It was worth it. I have went to two other schools, Wyotech and UTI, and I have got to say that this was the best school out of the three. I had a blast while I was there. My first class was upholstery, I had never used a sewing machine before but caught on quickly with the help of Omar, the instructor. And I got to make some really cool projects. The instructor was very knowledgeable and made the class fun. The fabrication course was next, and man it was fun. I already have a background in carpentry, so I kind of had an advantage over some of the other students, but I still learned a lot. The instructor was definitely helpful when it came to things I did not know. And we got to use all types of different equipment. My last class was the MEI course taught by Roger Hill. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable and he made the class very interesting. The things that I learned from this school are invaluable. The staff are really good and easy to talk to. They had four employees and I found that they were very caring and interested in how we as student were doing personally, which I thought was really cool. They really care about their students. The school is not huge, so the student/teacher ratio was great. I am sad that school is over already because I really enjoyed myself. I would say that about 85% of the time is spent doing projects with the other 15% being bookwork, which I thought was great. This school definitely gave me a great foundation to build my career on. I would recommend this school to anyone who is interested in this field. I found that when I went home every day, I wanted to get back in there to work some more and I was happy to wake up and get to work. If you are reading this review, then you must be interested in the school; I would say go and enroll. Set yourself up for success, this school will get you ready for a career. What you give is what you get, so take it seriously and you will succeed. And the staff will definitely help. So, take that step towards a career and let them help you. You will not regret it."
"I came to Acoustic Edge at the beginning of September 2014. I was excited to come to this school to learn custom fabrication. I soon realized that I had a passion for mobile electronics! I took the MEI course two times in a row. I learned much more than I anticipated. The course instructor Roger Hill made my learning experience very easy and exciting. Other instructors are very knowledgeable and friendly, willing to help with anything! The atmosphere of the school is awesome and I met a lot of great people while I was here for two months. At the end of my second month it was time for me to go back home to Colorado and search for a job. David asked me where I wanted to work, I told him Car Toys. By the time I left, I already had a job waiting for me in Colorado at Car Toys! I highly recommend coming to this school if you are passionate about mobile electronics, custom fabrication, or upholstery. This school will put you on the path to a great career!!!"
