In an age where medical science is constantly evolving, staying abreast of the latest research and development is crucial. Her treatment plans seemed antiquated, ineffective, and occasionally even contradictory to recent medical guidelines. Of note, I am a clinical scientist. The third and most troubling issue was her disregard for patient safety. On one occasion, she prescribed medication without adequately explaining the potential side-effects, which resulted in a severe adverse reaction. Had she provided a thorough consultation and considered my medical history, this unfortunate event might have been avoided. The lack of follow-up care was yet another disappointment. As patients, we trust medical professionals to guide us throughout our health journeys, but Dr. Skop demonstrated a lack of responsibility, leaving me feeling abandoned in a time of need. It is my belief that a good OB-GYN should be knowledgeable, compassionate, attentive, and committed to providing the best possible care for their patients. Regrettably, my experience with Dr. Skop fell woefully short of these standards. I urge anyone seeking OB-GYN services to consider these experiences before making a choice. It's essential to find a provider who respects your concerns, keeps updated with the latest medical advancements, prioritizes your safety, and is committed to your overall well-being. It is my hope that my review will help others make a more informed choice and avoid similar this horrible physician."
