"My visit was with Sophia Luna today, and it was such a great experience. I’ve never had someone take as much time explaining things to look out for someone my age or even making me sit and think about concerns I may have about myself. She addressed all of the things I went in for and more! I feel so confident about my wellness journey with Sophia Luna and I am so grateful for my referral to Kellum! This clinic truly cares about their patients and it shows."

"Save your time and patience and go to another facility. Their appointment scheduling system is the least of all of the disappointments. After multiple calls and waiting 48 business hours later I was able to schedule an appointment. The scheduler was impatient as I was trying to get an appointment that would work with my schedule as an educator. I arrived masked and notified two different intake nurses I was Covid positive and needed to discuss this with the doctor and to establish Kellum as my new primary care provider. 35 minutes go by and I’m notified the doctor is unable to see me. The nurse said the doctor wants to minimize exposure. A doctor unable to see a sick a patient? I asked if I could talk to her about my prescription options and the nurse said she could offer me a refund or reschedule my visit."

"Was recommended by a trauma surgeon to Dr. Gonzales for my wife and I. We were looking for a new family Doc when our previous Doc died. Kellum Group and Dr. Gonzales has been a rocky ride since we started, over a year ago. Dr. Gonzales does not like to be questioned as to why his diagnosis is based on blood draws made 6 months before and not the most current draw. His inspection of me during his 10 minute ,at most, was superficial at best. No listening to my heart or lungs. No checking my ears or eyes or any other part of my body by he or his PA. When checking my patient portal there were notifications that certain recommendations had been given me that were not given. It looked like he just used option X on a select one computer screen. In December I and my wife had blood drawn in advance of a upcoming 6 month appointment. In Feb. I receive a bill from a blood lab in Austin. Called the lab and was told they were taking over the blood work for Kellum and that I had to take this up with Kellum. Called Kellum and finally got to the billing department and was told that they, Kellum, had turned over lab work to the Austin company and I should contact them. A real merry go round. Shortly I received a bill from the Austin lab for over $400.00 for my wife's lab work. Again the Merry go round. After losing my patience with this I got into a "discussion" with the billing people at Kellum. I then asked to speak to the office manager. After 2 calls to the manager and only getting a voice mail, I am still waiting for a call back. BUYER BEWARE. Go there at your own risk. Currently hunting for a new Doc."

"Only had to wait 30 mins after checking in for my appointment. I’ve had to deal with worse in my experience. All staff was very friendly. I love that registration is done via mobile instead of paper and clipboard. I love the member portal that gives you access to your medications, lab results and other things. Dr Kellum is a true professional in what he does, I trust his ability to help with my health. This review fell short of 5 stars because the young lady at check out didn’t provide me an Excused from Work Note even when I asked nicely. She ignored my request and scheduled my next follow-up. Put a small bad taste in my mouth. Overall, my first experience was still great because I don’t allow people to bring me down."

"New Patient Alert: Do not waste your time with this medical facility. It is apparent that there is not an effective system in place to take care of patients properly. The building is nice but the service is NOT! There is way too many patients even though the staff is plentiful, the wait times are ridiculous. On the 1st visit the doctor came in and seem to be knowledgeable but very rushed. He left out and we never seen him again. We were left with questions that only a doctor could/should answer. There was confusion to which room we were going to next (the staff was confused and confrontational with each other). The lab wait was so long that we rescheduled to come back the next day. We decided to come at 630am in hopes the wait time would be better but it was worse. We waited for hours to find out that they were looking for the order in the back. Since we spent several hours in the waiting room both days, we were able to see that we were not the only ones having the same experience. Help is needed immediately."
