"The place to go with your family on a hot summer day. In the park by the river. Good place for a family outing."
"Beautiful park!!! The kiddos LOVED the splash pad, cant wait to check out a band at the pavilion. I love what the village did with this area!!"
"CLASSY COOL Thank you Village for including this in the plan! It is great for cooling off and is accessible for people of varying abilities. There is a half wall with pergola for sitting and supervising children. When not in operation it looks clean and classy. There are no garish colored contraptions that would detract from the surroundings and no doubt would need costly maintenance. Plenty of surrounding lawn space to picnic, play frisbee/catch or relax. It's just a short walk on the path (and no need to cross a street) to get to SEBA park playground. Our sons 15, 13 and 8 yo. all enjoy the space."
"EDIT: Now that the splash pad is operational, I have to add in that this is a 5 star splash pad FOR TODDLERS! This is not a splash pad for school aged children. It looks very nice, but it is boring; it's just a cement slab with water spouting up. They could have at least put water play structures in. There is a place for parents to sit and watch their kids play; it's a concrete ledge. You can also lay in the grass and sun bathe. There is no shade in the area unless you use the structures that aren't in parental supervision range. I'd rather drive to Barrlett."
