"This is my favorite bike shop in Houston. The owner is a very no nonsense, straightforward, knowledgeable person. I enjoy getting my bike parts and repairs done at this shop. Located in Montrose, it’s very close to Downtown Houston and very easy to find."
"This is my main, go to bike shop for my gravel bike, a Retrospec Amok. Not only do they have great pricing for service work but they are really there for you to help you thrive. No frills, no sales pitch, just a humble bike shop that will get it done. When I was veering towards buying something expensive or making some sort of modification, they would advise me that it wasn't necessary for what I was looking for or they would give me an option that works with my budget. I have had my bike serviced here multiple times, and one time when I had grabbed my bike and rode it for the next 10 mi, I got two pinch flats and I was stuck. Took the bus back to their shop and they replaced my inner tubes for free. Their customer service is amazing and super friendly. Definitely a place you want to stick to and frequent if you value good people, and honest business."
"Brought my $2500 Priority 600 with a Gates carbon belt drive and a Pinion Gearbox. Had a flat, was very far away from home. They didn’t know how to remove a tire off a tubeless ready rim. So they used brutal force and took multiple chunks out of my brand new rim. I didn’t notice it till I got home. Was trying to get them to fix it the next day. Owner offered me $20 as a compensation, and was trying to make it look like it was my fault. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT BIKE SHOP."
"As an individual that would consider himself an amateur at the sport of cycling. It was refreshing to hear Colter’s expertise on my problem. Normally, there is a stigma of how you are treated because you are new to something. You won’t find that kind of treatment here. His breakdown and customer service skills are renowned. Make sure the check them out if your new or just getting into cycling. Ask for Colter!"
"Kevin the shop owner is cool and laid back. His team are all friendly and helpful - they did a great job on tuning up my mountain bike and offering up their expert opinions on components. The overall atmosphere there is great."
