"UPDATE: As of today, we still have not gotten our money back from this company, nor has the timeshare been transferred for the amount paid, as promised. It has been 34 months, and we we agreed to 12 months, as stated in the audio recording we have, as well as in the documentation we have. *********************** In August of 2020, we met with Emerald Escapes to hire them to get us out of our timeshare. We paid over $6,000, and we have the paperwork and audio recording stating we would be refunded our money, if they were unable to get us out of our timeshare with the amount of money paid, as well as a 12 month time frame. I have left SEVERAL messages with no communication. We have NOT seen a refund in what we paid, and we are still bound to the timeshare. We have been paying our monthly dues this entire time. ****I saw a response to someone else who reviewed this company, and it is not true!**** They may have gotten people out of their timeshare, however, we are ones who feel SCAMMED!!!!! Do not do business with EMERALD ESCAPES! They will say anything and everything to get you to sign on the dotted line and pay them. Again… August 2022 will be 2 years we have been dealing with this, yet we were ENSURED a refund if our relinquishment was not taken care of within 12 months. LIE!!!!! To the company… If you feel I am incorrect, I will expect to be contacted, and we will be looking for our full refund ASAP! PERIOD!"

"Do not, I repeat, do not do business with them if you own timeahare. They do not try to transfer your timeshare to others.They just get you to sign over your timeshare with no guarantee( states it right in the contract) to be rid of it for good. You pay for a service that never happens. BEWARE!!! Do take the contract to a lawyer to be reviewed, you'll be happy you did. If I am wrong and there are people who weren't taken for a ride. I will personally apologize on this site. However, I highly doubt it.."
