Those days consisted of exciting chases to try and find the elusive tornado. We came really close a few times, and saw some tiny funnel clouds. Even though we didn't see any tornadoes, the spectacular super cells, cloud to ground lightning, menacing storm clouds and hail made the experience unforgettable. Our tour guide Bill Reid, is an experienced storm chaser, who taught the guests on the tour how to read the radar and see how a chaser decides where to chase. We were lucky enough to have Chuck Doswell along for commentary. Chuck has over 44 years of storm chasing experience and was a fountain of knowledge. Martin Lisius, the president of Tempest Tours knows what it takes to make a tour successful and Kim George takes care of all the guest arrangements. I enjoyed it so much, I am going to sign up for one of the 2017 tours."
