"Went to this Popeyes 3/4/2024 ordered a family meal combo , and chose mac & cheese and coleslaw as the sides . my family and I started eating the food it was not to our liking the chicken was tasteless, Biscuits dry, coleslaw dry, and mac & cheese was not homestyle. The mac & cheese sauce was very liquidy . I live 45 minutes away from this restaurant and had to turn back around . brought them back their food, and explained to the manager about the food quality. She proceeded to process the refund But was having an issue at her credit card terminal My card was charged $27.87 so instead of putting the money back on my card she proceeded to give me $25 in cash which was not the full amount That was charged from my card After I told them that I will call the police for withholding my money, the manager, then proceeded to give me my full amount that was owed to me. overall bad service I will not patronize that business anymore."

"SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! This place USED to have good food. But now...the chicken tastes like old grease. I ordered 4pieces of SPICY and it barely had any spice. The red beans and rice was watery and biscuits hard as a rock. I think they were old. Asked the young lady for all dark meat and got white meat. Total waste of money, I see why they are NOT busy anymore. WASTE OF MONEY!Tried to do a survey so their corporate will know and they took the code off the receipt so you can't. That's okay...I will call corporate instead."

"I live a few blocks away and decided to give them chance again. I will continue to go to the North Chicago location. The wait time & service improved but the size, temperature, freshness of my spicy chicken sandwich and my 3 piece wing dinner that totaled $23 was not worth it."
