The Grassdale at Manor Apartments

"I moved out in November of 2023 after living at the Grassdale for a year and some change. I would have given five stars, however I have taken three stars off for the debacle that occurred after moving out. While living there, maintenance was responsive and timely, the apartment was generally quiet, pest control was efficient, and there was overall nothing to complain about. Management could be a bit disorganized at times, but it was never egregious until we moved out. In late December I received a letter in the mail from the Grassdale stating that we had an outstanding balance upwards of $1800. This itemized list included December rent and many other confusing additions that didn't seem correct. We ended up going back to the leasing office and were accused of multiple things that would contribute to the outstanding balance - the only applicable ones being minor cleaning (negotiated down from heavy cleaning), paint, and a lost Ethernet cable. Altogether, we still ended up owing ~$200. Please note if signing a lease that the risk fee is not a form of security deposit and therefore will not cover these charges. Whatever system they use to issue balances was exceptionally buggy and stated that we still owed around $1000 even after removing the December rent (~$1300). After removing other miscellaneous charges, the numbers in the system still didn't add up and it was a long process to get down to the amount that was actually owed. This experience was a massive headache and should not have happened."

"Ms.Betty at the Grassdale Manor Apartments is one of a kind. She is the heart and soul of the Grassdale community. She made me feel at home. When she helped me search for an available unit at the building and provided a walkthrough. There was no hassle, and the process was quick with no problems. She answered all my questions and went out of her way to help me solve any issues I had. I got into our apartment THAT SAME DAY! The community is kept up, clean, and genuinely nice. I love it here and I plan to stay in this complex for years to come."
