"I lived here from 2007 to 2009. The place had mold so it always smelled putrid. The a/c didn't cool properly and any "fix" was really not. It flooded during Ike in 2008 and they never did anything about the carpet. Needless to say the black mold that started growing on the wall facing the out only got worse. Shortly after that I moved out. It seems that not much has changed."

"I am a single mother with a toddler, and I feel safe and taken care of here. I feel like the folks that work here and live around me are family, and they are all willing to help out and go the extra mile without asking. My Silver Maples family has been a Godsend to me and my child!"

"I currently live in Silver Maples. Since I've moved in, cigarette smoke from other tenants has been coming into my apartment. I've contacted the front office 4 times now, one of those times in person. They have been giving me the "run around" and nothing has been done about it. My lease states smoking in the apartments is prohibited. I also let them know I have asthma and allergies to tobacco. They've done nothing. I've not given up, I will soon make it clear they will either do something about this, or I will break the lease and report them for this health hazard that they are ignoring."
