"Elevator has been down for months now. GET IT FIXED!!! People do not want to haul luggage up 4 flights of stairs. Rooms are not all that. I stay here because its close to my work. Loud hotel. Doors slam shaking the walls."

"We have stayed at this location several times over the past 18 months. The location is perfect for us. Unfortunately this will be the last time we stay at this property. The elevator was down the ENTIRE STAY 5 days. When we found out the elevator was down we assumed (our mistake) that it would be worked in and back in operation within 1 or 2 days. We are in Houston/Pearland, not some island in the middle of the pacific. The front desk staff was nonchalant and uninviting. When we returned to the hotel after our first day out, the key was deactivated. Walked down from the 3rd floor, came back and although the door ‘unlocked’, it would not open. Walked back down to the front desk and the associate came back with us and with a very condescending look, used his master key and it opened. In front of him, my husband tried our key, nothing, the employee tried our key, nothing and then said, “oh this is probably the door where you have to pull the handle up”. Okay didn’t have to the night before but okay. And the room carpet…not sure what was on it but my socks were disgusting after 5 minutes. Honestly, the only positive comment that I have is that housekeeping was amazing! Anyway, just checked out a day early and will not return to this property."

"I stay at this location frequently as it is the most convenient for my specific purpose of traveling to Houston. The last two times I've stayed, the elevators were not working. I am an amputee and need to have the room with the roll-in shower. This room is on the second floor! WHY WOULD YOU PUT A WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE ROOM ON THE 2ND FLOOR! IF FOR NO OTHER REASON, IT'S A SAFETY ISSUE!"

"This used to be a good hotel. My family and I booked a room at this location earlier in the week. We received a call that the elevator was not working and that they would have to put us on the 1st or 2nd floor. I agreed that the 1st floor would be in fine. We arrived late that night and after checking in we were told we would be on the 3rd floor. We told the hostess that would be unacceptable that we were not walking up stairs with luggage and sleepy kids. We were told there is nothing they could do and that we could go somewhere else. This is after they had already charged us for the room. We will never stay at this facility again. I recommend going to the Home 2 Suites behind it. They have great service and the elevator works. I'm still waiting on my refund!!"

"We have previously loved staying at holiday inns, however this stay was very disappointing. Elevator was broken (only avaliable rooms were on 3rd or 4th floor and with kids that is NOT fun) sink in room didn't drain, damage on the bathtub, no one at front desk to assist, fitness center closed, no hot coffee downstairs in the morning, and my kids were extremely disappointed that the pancake machine was also broken. No one even offered compensation or a way to make our stay a nicer experience."
