"This hotel is older than others. The room are access is outdoor. The hotel has its age, but the room are quiet, modern, clean. For the price is very good hotel. The breakfast, the variety of things are small compare to others, but is ok."
"Great hotel very clean and surprisingly modern inside. I didn't use any of the facilities but the front desk employees were very friendly. Parking was easy and hotel was in a great location."
"I asked for a room on the first floor and was advised unavailable. Agreed to the 2nd floor after the front desk advised the room was at the end. It was directly in the middle. Don't lie to your customers. Guest next door was extremely noisy with his music. I do appreciate the staff jumping on that resolution. The door to the room had a gap so big on the bottom a mouse could have crawled in. As it was ran across some cockroaches. Note this hotel does not reside in a very safe neighborhood and is very noisy. Unpleasant. I would not stay here again."
"We roadtrip from Washington State to Houston regularly and have stayed in many 2-star budget motels. This one excels in every catergory: it's clean, the rooms are spacious, the beds are comfy, the staff is diligent and caring. It's clear the owners take pride in their property. The best part is the pool: waterfall and lush tropical plants. Don't miss this gem."
"Let me start with the advantages about this hotel before getting into the disadvantages. Advantages : 1. Location is really great. 2. Having Walmart next ti it is a Plus. 3. Decent staff. 4. Beds are good. 5. Bathrooms were good. Disadvantage: 1. Even though this hotel is being maintained this looks like a 50 year old building. 2. This hotel end to end smells very bad. Some stink across the building. (there were a few reviews about this stench and they are true.) 3. Too much cigarette smells along with the stench. 4. Fans dont work properly in the room. 5. We saw a baby cockroach. 6. Safety wise didn’t feel that safe around. This hotel is okay if you are going to just stay for a night single or even with families. Anything more than that I wouldn’t recommend."
