"I have no idea whether it is as nice as advertised, or not. In 2020 a little thing called COVID 19 interrupted my life, as it did so many others. My job was lost and I had to break a lease on my apartment. My credit took a hit. However, I have spent the last two years +rebuilding my score, and have paid $2,845.00/month on a lease at an Independent Living complex in Kansas. 24 months of perfect pay rent. An opportunity has come up back home here in the Houston area. I googled "Senior Living", I'm 70. Larkspur looked to be as close to being as nice as what I have grown accustomed. But, alas, because they are ignoring the stress that befell a retiree, such as myself, that has a broken lease on my credit from 2021, they were not willing to even talk to me about renting from them. My score is back up to 650 with bank loans, credit cards, etc., but a bad lease reported during extraordinary times is more important to the owners of Larkspur than helping a senior citizen."
