"Buyer beware. This is a beautiful apartment complex with high end finishes and a great location and pool. Those things sold us. However, we very quickly regretted our decision. The maintenance team is great. They fix small work orders very fast. They are kind and courteous. The leasing staff seems stressed most of the time, they are kind, but it seems like they are constantly distracted. My guess is they avoid talking to residents due to the larger issues at this campus. Noise — the noise at this location was severely down played during our tour. The bars and restaurants around are LOUD. So loud that over the weekends that our windows actually shake, no exaggeration. I advise anyone moving in should pick an apartment on the courtyard. You will notice how many apartments facing the river are vacant — there is a reason why! These owners should invest in soundproofing their windows. It would pay for itself by having higher occupancy. Elevators — The elevators are down more than they work. Again, no exaggeration here. We lived here 15 months and we just got used to the stairs. I have no idea how anyone with any physical limitations can live here. Constantly times were both of the 2 elevators are both out of order. It’s completely outrageous. Water — We went 6 weeks with zero hot water this summer. The broilers broke. These things happen, but what really disgusted us was how this management company chose to handle this. They avoided the issue, they just waited for us to come forward. We found out dozens of units were without hot water. Instead of being proactive, they buried their heads in the sand and prayed no one else would come forward. Absolutely nothing was offered to us — zero rent discounts, zero hotel vouchers or coupons — nothing! They could’ve even partnered with a near by complex or gym to provide a place for residents to shower, but they didn’t even try. All we got was apathetic emails every week. It was honestly deplorable. I feel bad for the front line staff that wasn’t in control of it. The management really did them wrong. Needless to say, we wish someone would’ve warned us before we moved in. For a LESSER price, we recently found another beautiful and high end apartment that also faces the river. So glad to be out of Jones and Rio."

"We just moved in about 2 weeks ago, and we couldn't be happier! The location, amenities, and apartment are all excellent. The staff, from the maintenance team, to the grounds keeper, all way to the leasing office has been really amazing! After moving in, my wife and I weren't sure if the apartment we picked was the right one for us. The leasing office was super understanding and offered us several options to make an internal move without any fuss. We wound up staying in the original spot...but having the supportive and friendly staff really helped guide us through that process. If you are looking for a friendly, awesomely located, and well maintained location (with a great staff), then look no further! 10/10"

"I have lived here for over a year now and wanted to share my opinion on my time here. Although everything is not perfect, the good outweighs the bad and the current management team has really started to bring this place back to life! Tim the maintenance guy is an absolute pool expert and is constantly improving the apartment and amenities. It makes me so happy to go down to cool crystal clear water and enjoy my weekend relaxing by the infinity edge. Tim’s work on the pool has been one of the best parts of the new management company. Another extremely helpful building team member is Stephanie at the front office, she has been attentive to the concerns of the residents and working with management to resolve issues quickly. She is constantly working to make the apartment better and bring the community together. After a series of vehicle break ins (which is common for living downtown) she was instrumental in bringing local law enforcement to address concerns of residents and working with management to help improve security of the apartment. One final thing that I love about Jones and Rio is the strong community we have built here. You will get to know your neighbors and meet people from the apartment at the gorgeous pool or rooftop patio! They have become like a second family to me and I love everyone that I have met here! The location is incredible and there are always people planning a night out or dinner somewhere. In reminiscing, I have very positive feelings about Jones and Rio apartments!"

"I have lived here for the past 13 months and couldn’t be more pleased. From the second I moved in it felt like home, gorgeous appliances, high ceilings, and even better views await you here at Jones and Rio. Josie is one of the sweetest and most helpful community directors I have ever experienced. With the hottest sushi restaurant in San Antonio below you and some amazing bars within walking distance you’re going to be in for a treat, trust me! If you’re considering moving in I recommend you do it 100%. Thanks for everything Jones and Rio, I’ll miss living here!"

"Beautiful apartments and amenities. This has definitely been our favorite apartment so far. Rooftop views are phenomenal and the pool is huge compared to most downtown apartments. Everyone at the office is also super friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this apartment building to anyone looking in the downtown area."
