"Lackland Families Deserve Better... Edit #3: I wish I could stop replaying this bad experience, but I remember the 1st night thinking that the sheets didn't look tight and taunt like other hotels. Putting it all together, this place charged me full rate to sleep in someone else's filth. THIS is the consequence of cleaning every 3rd day, there will be mix-ups and missed rooms. Edit for reply: room 238..I am coming to the realization that I have been sleeping in an uncleaned room from the last guest and their dog... Original: The absolute minimum bar for a hotel is TURN OVER A CLEAN TOILET. When I put the lid down I found an old liquid gift left by the last guest. The tub has a poor drain, so 10 minutes in the shower and you are standing in rising, ankle deep water. The tub is not leveled to drain so there is always a pool of stagnant water in its middle. There are no tub shelves. The only reachable flat surface for your soap..is the toilet..see above.. There was a partially chewed dog bone under the tv stand. Now I know the floors were not swept and now that I am spending daylight hours in the room before check-out, explains the shed dog hair...on the coffee table...(zoom in on picture below) Outside door handle remained broken throughout my stay. I met a veteran at the hot tub. He was in crippling pain and was counting on the spa jets to provide just a moments relief. His son and I looked for controls or a remote before we asked the front desk to turn them on. They said the motor was broken and could not remember a time when the jets worked. It was both disheartening and maddening. Now mostly, I blame the last guest and their lack of house training. I do NOT blame the friendly and helpful staff for any of this. I blame the owner and management. The room has a sign in your room stating they clean the room every 3rd day. Owners. Management. If you can't hire enough workers to clean the room, especially the toilet, at checkin, it is time for you to take your pay cut and hire more staff."

"Love the location. Many things close by. The service from front desk, Krystle, was very kind and helpful. Pleasant experience with her. However, as soon as we walk in our room we are welcomed with, .. filth. Very disappointing. The toilet had poop smeared on the seat; nothing crazy but you could see the gross marks. We were in a rush to get ready and head out, so we wiped it clean with a towel. I also noticed a hair tie by the bed that must have been there for awhile based off of the amount of dust on it. & the ac? We wanted to use that, but after seeing how dusty it was; hard no. & the tv remote did not work either. Do not recommend booking here at all with this experience. I mentioned above we needed to head out; so we were only here about 20 minutes after checking in. Returned at midnight & finally informed help desk of the situation. He commented, “so you checked in at around 5pm and what time is it right now? “ said he would escalate it to other staff in morning and management. I’ll update if they resolve this unpleasant experience."

"Great Hotel. Breakfast was hot, fresh, and good. Some minor issues: The line phone was broken, the table lamp light was burned out, and the built-in hair dryer motor was very noisy. Otherwise, all was good. Good wifi connection, quiet, comfortable room, big TV, and comfy bed."

"Reader BEWARE!!! Our stay at this property was the worst ever. This is to say the least. We attempted to have our issues resolved several times and they did not care to get in contact with me. I received a text message from the property the following morning after checking in asking me how my first night stay was. I replied with a very detailed response saying that it was awful and I received a text message back saying that somebody would get in contact. Nobody ever did! Then called the front desk later that day and was told that manager was not in until the next morning. I had to personally go down to the front desk to complain the following day and as I’m complaining about the issue to an employee, I noticed another lady stood there and did absolutely nothing to become involved or apologize about the situation. The lady standing there listening was manager Tiffany. After being told the issues would be resolved by the employee, we arrived at the hotel later that day and NOTHING was fixed. It looks like they just came in to mess with stuff but they fixed absolutely nothing!! Later that night I called the front desk again to let them know they had not fixed anything and an older man told me that I’d have to wait for another manager the next morning which was our check out day. The property needs deep cleaning. Our room was filthy. The TV and refrigerator did not work. We found out that your air filter for the AC was also full of dust. Now my wife and my 2 kids including my 11 month old baby is sick from all of that dust!! I This is the worst experience ever at a hotel!"

"We stayed here for 5 days for a school event and BMT graduation. We could not have asked for a better experience! It is an older hotel but it has been remodeled nicely. Rooms were clean, cold and comfortable. There is a wonderful outside sitting area by the pool to relax with the family. And most of all the staff was wonderful! Front desk, maintenance and house cleaning were all very friendly and accommodating. Thank you all for making our week that much easier!"
