"This place is the worst apartment complex I've ever lived in. The neighbors are loud, disrespectful, and rude. They blast music all times of the day and night and especially love doing it when they know most decent folks are trying to sleep. As I write this, there are people in the parking lot smoking weed and blasting their music to high Heaven in a manner suggesting we're all vampires and don't mind staying up late on a work night. The residents keep smoking weed (which isn't legal in Texas, and seeing as how most of these folks are military, I have no idea how this is going unchecked for so long), and the stench keeps creeping up into my apartment where my asthmatic child can breathe it in and struggle not to have an attack. And don't think for one second that I haven't told the people in the front office about this. I've sent countless complaints to them, and corporate for the same issues, and nothing has happened. All these folks want is your money. They don't care what happens to you as long as they can empty your bank account with substandard living that legally qualifies as human rights violations. If any of them had to live here, maybe things would be different, but since no one in the front office lives here, the thought is that trauma like this coming from a complex billing itself as "luxury" is totally fine. There was a shooting here a few days ago; no notice to residents. There was a different shooting here a few months back, and the front office neglected to mention it. We've had our packages stolen multiple times. No one here cleans up after their dogs or keeps them leashed, per lease and legal requirements. These mutts have TERRIBLE barrier aggression because none of their irresponsible owners can be bothered to train or take them to obedience school, so they're not growling and snipping at people for no reason. This is a vile, vile place to live and to add insult to injury, the rent here is almost $2000/mo for a two-bedroom apartment. For what? So I can get sick breathing in illegal marijuana smoke? It's funny how the police always show up when you never want to see them, but when they need actually to do some policing, they can't be bothered. I DESPISE this place; I hate living here and will be so grateful to leave this place in my rearview mirror. If you want to live among some of the loudest, rudest, most disrespectful, and inconsiderate people on the planet, this is THE place for you. However, if you want peace, quiet, and quality, you will be disappointed if you move here expecting that. Moving here was one of the worst decisions I've ever made, and that's saying something. Save yourself the literal headache, and don't move here. This place is where humanity and basic decency come to die a slow, painful death."
"DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! I lived at Timberhill Commons for a little over three years and I would not recommend moving here if you are considering it. I was the first person to live in my unit, I moved in on September 2020. The first property management team who managed this property was AMAZING! The property was always kept in pristine condition, the pool water was blue, maintenance requests were properly cared for, management team was attentive, and they had a text messaging system whenever things such as break-ins or other things were going on on this property that kept all of the residents up to date. Once they left, that's when everything went down hill. In 2022 I knew my lease was coming to an end, so I wanted to move out, the office had somehow magically "LOST" my original copy of my lease ON FILE and could not give me any verification as to when my lease ended. They didn't even give me a 60 day notice. Then somehow they told me my lease ended on a specific day and they would honor the current pricing that I paid during my prior leasing term. A few weeks or so later, I got another email to sign my lease agreement (which I had ALREADY SIGNED) with a different date that my lease was going to end and with different pricing on it. I went into the office and they told me just to ignore it... Already suspicious of this activity, I screenshot the 2 separate documents and kept my lease agreement, that I signed just in case something had happened. Fast forward to 2023, I knew that my lease was coming to an end and I had definitely wanted to leave this property. WHY? The pool has been green for months, constant break-ins, entry/exit gates are always broken, the parking lot looks like a mechanic shop, random guys walking around in ski masks, no more security driving around, front office staff knows absolutely nothing about customer service, drugs laying around, dog bins overflowing with dog feces, dog feces all over the property... I could go on, there is no such thing as luxury here any longer... I had noticed that I did not receive a 60 day notice to either renew my lease or to move out, so I went into the office to confirm when my move-out date was. Letty, informed me that my move-out date was in February of 2024 (which I knew for a fact that was not correct, because I would have not signed a leasing term for anything longer than 12 months because I hated living here). I had told her I did not sign a 15 month lease and she told me, "well I wasn't here so I can't help you". I went through my documents and found that my lease was actually supposed to end in October 2023 (we were in early September at this time), so I asked if I could speak with the property manager or someone to help me figure this out. Which I had to wait until the following week for someone to assist me. It turns out that someone in the office HAD FORGED MY LEASE!!!!!!!! Property manager was helpful, she told me since I didn't hand in a proper 60 day notice and for the office forging my lease, I would have to wait until November 30th to move out. Upon this stemmed another issue, later I got billed for a month to month lease from October to November of $1600+ and I tried to follow-up with someone in the office and Letty never returned any of my calls took down my information to give to her manager. No one knows nothing in this office, but I am happy to say that property manager took care of the fees upon our agreement. I have been living on my own for over 10 years now and I have never experienced a complex like this. I would not move here, EVER!! Save your money and live somewhere else!"
"DO NOT MOVE HERE The good reviews have to be paid for. I lived here 2 1/2 years and watched management change maybe 4 times, progressively getting worse (with the exception of Juan who was always kind an helpful if you could catch him on a day he was there). There are constant car break ins/thefts (including trucks being left on bricks/whole motorcycles disappearing overnight). The piles of broken glass stay in the parking lot for days w/o the office doing anything. There was a shooting at the pool and management didn’t send out an email or anything about it to warn/inform residents. There are not enough dog waste receptacles and the ones that they do have are overflowing constantly, it’s disgusting. Trees are regularly falling over and damaging property and all they do is cut them down and leave them everywhere instead of cleaning them up, so the place looks like a dump in certain areas. Units come with stackable washer/dryers and they’re awful/breakdown constantly and management refuses to give you new ones and instead has their maintenance team Jerry rig the ones that are already in the apartment. One maintenance man’s wife (last name Carpenter) got my number and harassed me, accusing me of sleeping with her husband (I didn’t even know who they were until she reached out to me)and the office didn’t do anything. Then she posted pictures of me, my phone number, my cars, and my home all over various Facebook groups encouraging other people to show up and harass me. This posed a huge threat to my safety and the office CONTINUED TO EMPLOY HIM. The same people had police over regularly because their 3 aggressive pit bulls were constantly trying to kill each other and attack other dogs on the property. Their neighbors dog was in a cone for weeks because it was attacked. Tow trucks towed me from my own personal parking spot that I paid for multiple times with no valid reason why (my cars are up-to-date on everything and were registered with their system). Juan in the front office is nice/helpful, but Shyne is terrible, unhelpful, and rude, and he hangs up on you if you don’t agree with him. I received a gate clicker when I first moved in with the 1st management team, and it broke, but it didn’t matter when the gate stayed open all of the time/were constantly broken. In the last month before I moved out, they sent out emails to everyone claiming they were going to finally close the gate so I went into the office to get a new clicker because I hadn’t used one in over a year and Shyne made me pay $50. Then for the whole month the gates stayed OPEN ANYWAYS. They literally coerced me out of giving them that extra $50. When I was trying to get a copy of my lease I was told they LOST MY LEASE and told me they would call me back but didnt. The next month my lease ran out so they charged me an extra $200 on top of my rent without informing me that they would do so, and they refused to remove it even though I requested my lease that they lost. The pool is FILTHY, green, and full of bugs constantly. The list really goes on and on, I wish I took more pictures, but I try to keep to myself. But just trust me and don’t live here."
"This apartment complex is absolutely the worst place to live in. The staff is unprofessional, unreliable, lacks knowledge and effective communication skills. They have proven to not care about their residents, at all. Crime, burglary, mail box and car vandalism as well as drug activity is consistent. The apartment units have plumbing, HVAC electrical issues. Gates are always broken, There's no safety. Then there's the AirBnB squatters who trash everything. There's always chaos! Rent is ridiculously expensive. There's no LUXURY here. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone!"
"This is our pool in the luxury resort apartment complex at timberhill commons. The water is suppose to be clear blue. It is full of algi, we can't enjoy the summer by the pool, but yet they want their rent money on time and don't be late. I rate these apartments a negative 10.( Do not recommend)"
