The Flats at Olmos

"I would not move here roaches, parties at pool on weekends not just until 10pm pretty much when they decide to end it! So on that note pool is pretty much open all night! The grounds are dirty food is everywhere trash! They feed stray cats and food is left so it attracts the roaches and flies! The laundry facility is a joke one washer is unplugged! That is even dirty! So 950 a month for what?? No parking everyone just parks all there vehicles there! It should be one vehicle per household then the other vehicle should be on street! Kids are playing in walkways. Residents are drinking beer on walkways listening to loud music u can't hear your tv!! The roaches is what did it for me and the loud music and parties! Also I have to go home my son has cancer and I shouldn't have to pay a fee to be out of my lease! I only live in the apartment for two weeks! Especially with all these problems! Then when I moved in it smelled like gas they kept telling me let it air out I'm like no it stinks bad finally that was fixed but I had to stay in a motel! Then the 2nd time I had to stay in a motel cause of the partying and roaches were everywhere! I couldn't even cook and they were crawling everywhere! I can go on and on but I won't! I want to talk to the owner but she won't let me cause I want to work something out with this let me out of lease I do not think I should have to pay with all these problems! Plus I'm leaving the state! A manager needs. To live on site cause it not good after 5pm! The review posted below mine is not true the property is not clean! Go see for yourself! There isn't adequate parking!"

"Just moved in with my son and I, and manager Nicole is amazing! The property is so clean, well maintained, and you can tell she cares about the property. There are a few vehicles with expired (and I mean months and years) registration that need to be towed or removed from the property, but the noise levels are great, people are respectful and the laundry room is also clean. The apt we are in is one bedroom and very spacious. Clean inside the unit and as of yet no bugs that we have seen. There is adequate parking despite it being a small property and the park next to the apts is adorable. Awesome place with exercise equipment to use along the trail. We will update after maintenance has come in to do a few small repairs and a what we hope is a small water leak under the floor board. Very very happy that my son and I moved here and can FINALLY call this our home."

"I haven’t had a pleasant experience here. The neighbors are loud and constantly yelling at 2am. Mind you this is not just one particular neighbor but practically half the complex likes to air their problems out for everyone. There are sketchy people coming in and out of the complex all the time. The washer and dryers are horrible. There’s two dryers and washers and that’s even if they are both working (hardly ever). The residents don’t EVER pick up after their animals. So enjoy seeing dog doo when you walk outside. Everything done here is done as cheap as possible. When we came into our apartment one day, the bathroom mirror had fallen off and there was a giant hole behind the mirror at least 3 feet wide, as if instead of putting dry wall behind there they stuck a mirror. These are just a few of the problems here. If you can afford somewhere else please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere."

"These apartments are one of the worst I've ever lived in. Within the past 3-4 years living here we have gone through numerous managers, too many to count. They never had their paperwork together nothing was organized the maintenance was not reliable. These apartments are ghetto. They have rats, roaches, ants, etc. The most recent manager/owner is the worst of them all. He is rude and has ZERO respect for the military. We have men (including my baby brother) and women off fighting for our freedom and country and he has no respect for that. He is forever sending late notices but yet he is never in the office. If money order is the only way to pay rent how does he expect to get it when he's never there ???? I do not recommend ANYONE to these ghetto apartments. You will just get treated like nothing and your issues or problems will just get ignored. He says he's "fixing" these apartments but so far it's getting worse & it's just a matter of time before the rent is raised as well. Stay far away from this place!!!!"
