"I really had high hopes for this place but am counting the days for my lease to end! The positives, cute aesthetic, easy access to 410, the resort style complex is unique. Sadly the negatives are too many to justify this place as an option for anyone looking for a ‘decent place’ to live. I have two neighbors who continuously feed/house stray cats. This also attracts wild life and pests. That alone has made living here unbearable, especially because I have plants. I’m always having to clean up after cat fights/disturbances and have reported this many times to management. I’ve had to invest in deterrents on my own because management has shown no effort to find solutions in justifying my stay here. According to their contract, it’s a violation to feed stray animals. I’ve submitted evidence that exceeds the max violation amount before eviction, yet they still allow the activity to continue. They know I’m unhappy but its not a concern for them. Another is that its truly not ‘all bills paid’ as advertised. Wifi doesn’t work and you will have to get your own. Water is constantly being shut off. On occasion I’ve had to make arrangements to stay with friends with running water. There’s dog/cat feces around the complex because people don’t pick up after their pets. Overall the rent price doesn’t justify the experience in my opinion. I consider myself to be a good tenant. I’m quiet, considerate and responsible. However residents that don’t have these qualities seem to have the upper hand in a place like this. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to a family! But if you’re single with low standards, it may work for you!"

"I feel compelled to share our distressing experience at Salado Creek Villas. In October 2023, we reported a water leak in our bathroom. Despite our immediate report and subsequent follow-ups, the issue was only addressed in mid-November. The prolonged delay led to extensive mold growth, which has now created a serious health hazard, especially concerning as we have two young children who are also exposed to this environment. Our attempts to resolve the mold issue with the property management have been frustratingly unproductive. To add to our distress, we've been served an eviction notice for non-payment. This feels profoundly unfair and unjust, given the uninhabitable conditions we've been subjected to, particularly worrying for the health of our children. We're seeking help and wish to raise awareness about the conditions at Salado Creek Villas. It is crucial for such health and safety concerns to be addressed immediately to protect tenants, especially families with young children. Any advice, assistance, or shared experiences from the community or tenant rights experts would be invaluable. We hope our situation can prompt change and prevent others from facing similar hardships. PSA the bathtub is brown because the hot water comes out brown so I have to take showers and brown water drink brown water Clean my dishes with brown water Person moved in my husband was hospitalized because he was drinking from the tap The moment we got a filter he got better update it's been 2 months and they still haven't responded to my review and just sent our account to collections charging us $5,000"

"Good luck living here. 20 days out of the month your water will be turned off and you will be lied to about when it's coming back on. The included wifi does not work.The apartments and cars near the main street get continuously broken into. The playground is full of cat poop so don't let your kids play in the rocks!! And watch out because some of the neighbors let their huge dogs go off leash when there are kids playing just to mess with them!! Massive piles of dog poop are all over the sidewalks and the smell is disgusting. Maintenance does not clean it up. But hey they think throwing parties in the office is doing something. Overall very ghetto."

"Overall, great. Management is friendly, professional, and always try to plan something fun for residents. The Thanksgiving dinner management prepared was a really nice touch. Whenever there has been a problem, management and maintenance both act quickly to resolve it. Very good place to live!"

"thanksgiving dinner was a 10/10 our manager is always finding ways to interact with us. the property is super cute inside n out , maintenance gets to you fast theres never a delay . overall i can say these apts are 5 star n worth it ."
