We’ve lived in a few other apartments and have had poor experiences, but here at encore 281, we are so grateful for the management here and how everyone goes above and beyond to make sure the process was smooth!"

"1st review (see updated review below): Lived here about 2 years ago and waited to review; the application process was difficult and lacked communication from the manager at the time. First day of move in and I myself with asthma immediately had issues breathing; I ignored it as I assumed maybe just the move but then my son started to have breathing issues as well which he never had; and while living here we discovered mold within every sin or a/c vent in the apartment; the one in the master bathroom and the smallest bedroom were the worst. When we called maintenance; we were asked to leave the unit while they worked and apparently they had to do tend to multiple vents in multiple units this day (a special service they called for hire); and when we watched on camera it appeared as if maintenance sprayed white paint over the mold and did not clean at all; not did they go to every room. We documented everything via email , every phone call, every maintenance request, and every service request and we did not renew the lease. A whole 2 years later my son still has not had any breathing issues at all he was 18 months at the time; and neither have I. Parking was a nightmare and when we finally rented a garage, the one time we got locked out of it they took foreverrrr to fix it. The walls to the rooms upon move in were stained and dirty from food and dirt marks from prior tenants and we were told that painting could not be redone due to once the tenants move in they can’t do anything about it. We ended up having to purchase paint and repaint the walls ourselves. The list could go on and on about problems we had here including the dirty hallways from the valet trash service that sometimes never got picked up; and the 1 dumpster they had at the time was always overflowing in to the driveway. Don’t get me started on all the weird bugs, dangerous spiders and giant roaches we would find time to time in our unit / storage on the patio and could never enjoy the patio without these things wasps or mosquitoes and we were not allowed to have any of our own form of bug repellent etc out on the patio. Still to this day we have not received any move out letter nor notice of refunded deposit etc. managers were extremely rude upon movement and rude in response to the mold situation. Dog poop everywhere at all times including the sidewalk. 2nd review (response to managements claim that it was just previous management and that there is no record of me on file) Doesn’t change the fact that the apartment conditions are what they were when we were there, ie mold in the vents etc. and I management was bad then and this is the callous response present day; I imagine new management isn’t much better. I definitely wouldn’t have waisted my time writing a review for a place I never lived."

"Been here 1 year, been a great experience. I am only moving because I want to be closer to work. Quiet property. Clean property (no bugs for me). Office staff is super friendly and always helpful. Same day or next day work order requests are completed. I didn’t use the gym because I go to Golds Gym. I had an issue where my upstairs neighbor has a treadmill and would want to run at 0530 sometimes. It was so loud my windows would shake and my room would just pound. I brought it up to the office and Kim was on it, she called the resident and took care of it."

"This place used to be nice, VERY NICE. They have turned over 2 management companies in two years and the current is unprofessional and horrible. They allow animals to poop all over and don't hold tenants accountable. The police are by here on the regular because they wont pay for a security officer like they had when i moved in. Car theft and break ins are happening more while even in a gated community. The dumpster is always over flowing and looks horrible. They workout room is full of bugs. The parking, forget it. Not enough space. At the end of the day, i would DEFINITELY NOT move here. As it stands. I am taking legal action with plenty of evidence."
