Alon at Castle Hills

"I moved here in the summer of 2023 and I can honestly say, I cannot wait until my lease is over. There have been ongoing issues with pests and the upkeep of the property, especially around the building 10 area. It seems as though the property manager/owner of the property only take care of the left side of the property. Meanwhile, the right side of the property is a hot mess. There are tons of stray cats, people walk their dogs and don’t clean up after them so there’s feces everywhere you go, And don’t get me started on the roaches. I have had to have pest control come to my unit multiple times to keep them at bay. This is the first apartment I have ever lived in that I’ve had this issue with. It’s disgusting and stressful as heck. The only positive thing I can honestly say about this property is that it’s typically quiet I don’t have any noise, complaint issues (aside from the “ricers” Who like to rev their loud cars up in the middle of the night every once in a while I guess because they have something to prove). But it’s not all the time so I guess that makes it ok?? Other than the “typically quiet” atmosphere I personally would not recommend this property to anyone. It’s just simply not worth it."

"First impressions are everything. Not only did my roommate and I love the presentation of the outside with how clean the grounds were but we were immediately greeted with the warmest welcome by the assistant manager Keyana. She was polite, informative and so personable, which makes a great connection and shows how much she cares for the people that walks through the doors. During our tour she made conversation with us and it felt like we had been friends for years. Told her we were new to San Antonio and she immediately gave us recommendations for different places to try while we’re here. She has been one of the most pleasant faces we’ve encountered since we’ve arrived and we enjoyed every minute of it. She was able to answer all of our questions and cleared any uncertainties we may have had. We really hope to always have an assistant property manager to that stature while we live our lives here in San Antonio. Keyana you are amazing!"

"I've been here for 10 yrs, the old owners did not take care of the property, the new owners are good. Lots of painting needs to be done, cracks in sidewalks need to be fixed. The shrubs that were destroyed Feb 2021, need to be replaced I've asked several times and they said it would be taken care of. Joe Pierce our maintenance manager is the best we'he ever had! He is a very good worker and very courteous to the residence. The rest of the staff are attentive and pleasant. I always appreciate their help!"

"Alon at Castle Hills if a friendly community. The staff are all welcoming. When something breaks down the maintenance workers are striving to fix the problem right away. When I walk in the main office area I am usually greeted with a welcoming hello. The Pool in nice and refreshing to swim in during the hot summer months. The GYM lets you have a nice quiet and comfortable place to workout. The residence people are friendly and Neighborly. A nice and Cheery place to be in."
