"I’ve had 3 packages stolen. I followed up with the front office and was treated poorly by the staff. The receptionist by the name of Nikita was dismissive and stated the I would need to file a police report. I asked the office to look into the video footage and was ridiculed for asking. I understand that the front office is not liable for stolen packages however I was utterly disappointed in the lack of customer service and empathy I received from the staff. The front office is the face of a business. I don’t understand what qualifications a person needs to be hired as a receptionist at Talavera but tact and hospitality definitely aren’t included in the job description. Instead of hearing me out, the receptionist proceeded to talk over me and started raising her voice. If you have issues, don’t bother following up with the staff because all I got from Nikita was sighing, huffing and puffing like an adolescent. Talavera and Nikita- Do better."

"Recently moved in and was an amazing experience, from the price break and down and knowledge of Maria and Nikita who assisted me through my rent .I highly recommend to reach out to Maria and Nikita from the office due to the patience and time and dedication she had to help me feel comfortable and at ease at my choosing. I will highly recommend to go with Maria and Nikita due to her knowledge and manners are off the charts and she speaks Spanish and English which shocked me ."

"Man i have to say I’m glad i landed where i did because with work transferring me over to a state or city I’ve never been was rough and i will say talavera apartments have made it easy. With the apartments located where they are i keep hearing around that I’m in a good area and that i did good. The apartment was a lot bigger than i was expecting and very nice ! I would happily recommend these apartments if you are searching to move somewhere ! The staff was great upon arrival i was helped by i believe her name was Maria which was very understanding and reasonable of my situation and move in information. Great amenities, i enjoy their pools and the gyms are nice . And the maintenance group is very respectful and responsive to tickets which are created . I have 0 complains and have a great experience so far"

"The only reason why I cancelled was due to the staff's lack of communication. I had to go up to the office to ask questions about my lease and was told only the leasing agent who helped me apply could help me. But I was promised to get a phone call from her first thing in the morning the next day. I never received the phone call, and at one point during my day I called again to try to get a hold of someone at the office to get my questions answered. I still did not get a phone call or email back. A lady from the office finally called me back the following week and told me anyone of the leasing agents could help me with my leasing questions. I went ahead and cancelled my application. I was so frustrated after hearing this. I was genuinely interested in moving in with this complex. But this experience was enough for me to decide to cancel. If the communication was horrible this early on, I can only imagine if I had decided to move in. Due to canceling the lease I may not get my deposit back. But the property manager did contact me and apologize for the experience and is looking into getting my deposit returned. I was not expecting this but it was very much appreciated. Especially coming from the property manager itself, I hope the staff take this feedback and apply it to future residents. I understand stuff can fall between the line but good communication early on in the application and moving in process is crucial"

"For the 2nd time since I have lived here in 3 years my shower walls have had to be repaired. This 2nd time they came out I was told by the contractor and the lead maintenance man that it was so bad behind the wall that they even had to replace the 2x4's. I caught the contractor using regular sheet rock in the shower enclosure, which anyone with half a brain cell knows not to use in a shower. Maintenance lead at the complex knew the contractor was using the wrong materials but didn't stop them from doing it wrong. This contractor even said "I put this in all the showers I do here". I pressed this issue and had them tear down the sheet rock and tile that they were almost done installing. When the tile and sheet rock they had just put up was torn out it revealed that the rotted boards and insulation covered in mold were never replaced. After bringing to the apartments attention and telling them I did not want those contractors in my apartment again. Next morning the same hack contractors that have no clue what they are doing are at my door. At this point I'm waiting for a 2nd contractor to complete the work. Pictures posted are of the wall they replaced and had to take down again exposing the mold and rot they claimed they had already replaced. Pure negligence on the complex management team. They are hiring unprofessional and unqualified contractors and are not overseeing the quality and exposing tenants to health hazards."
