Oak Terrace Apartment Homes

"I have lived here for 4 years (2019-2023) and I’ve thought it has been overall a very good experience. Yes, the apartments are a little older but they are big and well-priced for what you’re getting. Rent prices are very fair (they have not inflated rent prices on me despite living here though covid! And I know a lot of other apartments did increase their rent at that time), leasing office staff are friendly and accommodating, and the grass outside is well kept. Maintenance response times have gotten much much better over the years and have been responding within 1-2 days of my request now. Some minor complaints I’ve had: One of my complaints about the place is the design of the laundry facilities (only 2 washers and dryers per laundry room so you have to check other laundry rooms sometimes if someone else is doing their laundry) but it’s still been very manageable over the years. Also when I first moved here, I did deal with some pests (roaches and ants) for the first 1.5 years but then its mostly disappeared since then. Dishwasher in my unit never worked and I attempted to get it fixed several times but it still never washed the dishes properly. I eventually gave up and have been hand washing all my dishes the last 4 years. There were also some safety concerns 2 years ago with tires and catalytic converters getting stolen from vehicles but I’ve seen cops and law enforcement come by more frequently now to deter thieves which seems to be working bc I haven’t seen any more thefts for at least a year now. Also, I know these same crimes were happening in much newer gated communities nearby as well so it really wasn’t specific to this apartment complex at all unfortunately. Otherwise, this neighborhood feels very safe and I rarely worry about walking around this neighborhood late at night. Again, the above are pretty minor complaints I’ve had. Otherwise, this is a great place to live. I am only moving because I have new employment out of state. I would definitely choose to live at Oak Terrace again if I could."

"Juan our maintenance tech always does excellent work and is available as soon as he gets done helping other tenants. He has great customer service skills and always greets us with a smile. He's even come to the rescue after hours when we had emergencies. He and Misty our apartment manager go out of their way to be here for all of the tenants at Oak Terrace Apartments. We feel very welcome here. Thank you and God bless!!!"

"I have thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable and easy lifestyle at Oak Terrace. The staff and maintenance are always very kind, helpful and professional. I love the mature trees and that I have lots of storage and covered parking. I will stay here until I buy a house. No wonder this place has no availability. Thank you for making my family feel at home."

"laundry facilities are usually down which makes washing your clothes kind of hard when everyone else is also waiting to wash their clothes. Staff has been super nice as always though! They are working on it but it just seems to be “band-aids”. Management is trying though and I appreciate their responsiveness to the issue! Update: Management got more than half of them back up and running pretty fast considering the recent events! Thank you so much!"
