"Water is off again... since 10AM today. Leasing office sent an email saying it would be 3 hours for repairs to be completed. This is the 3rd time within 30 days. This time it is sunny 70 degrees outside and no reason has been given except to say there is an emergency repair that will take 3 hours. Three hours passed 4 hours ago and still no water. I have not had anything to drink all day."
"We had high hopes about this place but those hopes are already being crushed and we haven’t even moved in yet. We just got our keys yesterday and my partner found 8 live roaches in our kitchen sink and it looked like someone took a wee in our tub. I’ve never seen such a poor make-ready in my entire time of renting. We’re paying over $1,000 to live somewhere that claims they cleaned and cleaned a second time upon our request. We went by last night to confirm that they fogged the place (which they did) but EVERYTHING was still dusty and filthy. There are cracks and holes everywhere in the apartment despite the leasing agreement stating that previous tenants need to make appropriate reparations. If the complex is keeping people’s deposits as other reviews state, then their greediness shows because that money does not obviously go towards any repairs or damages left in the apartment. We found roach droppings PAINTED OVER in our KITCHEN CABINETS. I already feel scammed out of our money and we’re just starting our 12 month lease here. I left two emails yesterday and never got a response to those but I was able to get an update from the office after my partner and I both called at least 5 times each. We called corporate too and all calls went to voicemail and were not returned. During our visit last night we noticed our front porch light already needs to be replaced and is out. Our fan in our upstairs restroom doesn’t work which is not going to fly because with built up moisture comes water damages and more pests. If you’re considering moving here, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Our last apartment was not the best, but sadly it’s looking like a way better deal than what was supposed to be this “great new chapter” for us. Hoping for the best but fully expecting the worst from this complex. I hope things turnaround. Update (11/30/2023) 5:40 PM CST: An inspection was completed last Wednesday and we were informed that someone would be by sometime this week to address the concerns we have with our apartment. Since, we have had zero communication regarding these improvements. Additionally, I’m constantly reaching out to the property manager at the email provided to me by the leasing office (mind you, I confirmed it was a good email address by the manager herself) and I never receive ANY response whatsoever. The most effective and helpful worker here is Shauni, who I must applaud for her consistency, timeliness and empathy. I was also informed the other day by Shauni that we were supposed to be provided with property stickers for our vehicles upon move-in (which of course, we were not because we had all of the above issues on what was supposed to be our initial move-in date). I haven’t even talked about my issue with completing the inventory checklist online, trying to go in person to the office and them being closed 40 minutes before closing time. Then after being so fed up, I emailed in full detail our inventory checklist (which was apparently in their spam folder) and was told I would have to, once again, fill out the proper form (which I could not do the previous day because nobody was in the office despite it being open office hours). My review will continue to stand until we see any kind of improvement, but so far all we’ve done is make the best out of this very sad situation. UPDATE 1/17/2024: As of 1/16/2024 we’ve been without hot or cold water. We’ve received zero communication regarding the issue and despite CONFIRMING both the manager and my own email addresses, the lack of communication continues. Additionally, nobody’s reached out in the last TWO months that we’ve lived here to discuss any repairs or to address our complaints. 1:51 PM 1/17/24: Manager JUST emailed me providing an update and information, but hasn’t provided information as to when water will be back on. However, she informed my partner that it would be back on by this afternoon. If you love miscommunication and misinformation, this place will be a great fit for you! :-)"
"Management and apartment quality do not reflect the price of these rentals. Abysmal quality with a recent raise in rent for what? There have been no improvements whatsoever and the condition of the apartments continue to diminish. The complex has a nasty roach problem and they continue to blame the residents. Over and over the apartment is sprayed but roaches run rampant and make you feel disgusting no matter how often you may clean. They should reimburse residents for having to deal with THEIR roach problem, the amount of money ive spent on personal roach killing products is absurd."
"Have never had as poor of an experience at an apartment complex as I had at this one. The property manager, Pura, was always unprofessional and rude for absolutely no reason. Every interaction I had I was as respectful as I could be considering I had one time I went without hot water for 4 days, I had a hole in my shower wall from water damage for several months, and not once did I get an apology for the lack of maintenance. It took a call to 311 to have them forced to make repairs. I ended up terminating my lease early due to the issues I was having making the apartment nearly unlivable, and despite following the terms of my lease providing adequate notice and paying the applicable fees, management made the process as difficult as possible. Calls to the regional manager, Sheri, always went unanswered. After moving out they attempted to charge for carpet cleaning after I had provided an invoice for the cleaning. I was also told “we charge everyone for paint touch up” which is illegal in Texas to charge for normal wear, but based on interactions, this landlord has no regard for the law. Water was constantly being shut off at this property for days at a time during cold weather, with management stating it is out of their control, but this doesn’t seem to be an issue at any of the other more well maintained complexes in the area. I still have not seen a refund to this day of money owed to me from my deposit and overpayment of my final rent, but at this point I’ve just written it off to avoid the extra stress, even though I have every right to file suit for the funds. I’m sure I’ll just get the same canned response that every other 1 star review gets, I would recommend looking for ANY other complex than this one if you’re looking for a clean and safe home."
"Do not move here. The service is horrendous. We had a mouse/pest problem which took the complex over a month to address, despite us reaching out multiple times. Also had electrical problems which we submitted maintenance requests for but they never reached out or came to fix that. Furthermore, the office staff is extremely rude, for absolutely no reason and no matter what you're contacting them about. They will yell and be snarky with you simply for asking them to do their jobs. We gave our written 60 day notice, which the complex refused to acknowledge despite repeated attempts, and when it came time to move out, they told us that our notice wasn't valid SINCE THEY DIDN'T ACKNOWLEDGE IT and made us pay 2 months month-to-month rent on an apartment that was no longer lived in. 2 months later, we again came to them to turn in the keys, and again they told us that they hadn't actually acknowledged our 60 day notice and we hadn't filled out a form (which is not required per the lease agreement), and tried to swindle us out of more month to month or pay $1800. LASTLY, we scrubbed the place down, paid to have the carpets cleaned (as required in the lease), and honestly left it cleaner than when we got there (with video proof). Still, they kept over $300 of the security deposit, listing damages that were absolutely not present (and that they are not entitled to based on their own contract), and again charging us for the carpet even though we sent them the receipt showing we had it professionally cleaned. We reached out to them about the wrongfully withheld deposit weeks ago, have not received a response and honestly I don't expect to. The conditions are awful and they will try to scam you out of every penny they can get. And yes I mean SCAM because what they do violates their own contract and the Texas law, they don't care as long as it makes them a couple bucks. LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS."
