"I’ve lived in a few apartment complexes in San Antonio now but this one is my favorite by far. From the moment I walked in to tour, Maricela and her staff were very welcoming and patient with all the questions I’ve had. I ended up signing and there’s not a day I regret it! They made the move-in very easy for me. I love my townhome, it’s very cozy and have had almost zero problems so far. Any minor issues i’ve had, maintenance has taken care of it immediately and have also been kind, without making me feel like a bother. I recommend Heron to anyone looking for a home in the area! Thank y’all for all that you do! :)"
"I think living at the Heron has been better and more comfortable since the new management took over. The management now recognizes and genuinely cares about the hospitality of individuals. Brittany has been a huge assistance throughout her brief couple weeks at Heron. I would recommend living at Heron not only for their management but the living space they provide."
"Moved in earlier this semester. Loved the floor plan but had some issues on move in with our unit. Maintenance was quick to fix/replace anything and the complex itself has cleaned up and fixed issues in the last month. The pickleball court is a big plus. No major issues with living here thus far."
"I honestly love it here so much. I have had no problems whatsoever and I would stay here forever if I could. I just absolutely love it. The appliances are so nice and so is the furniture. They just have so many awesome amenities and it is perfect for me and my situation."
"I enjoyed my stay while I was a resident as this was formally known as the Estates. I lived in 2 units, both were nice and I liked the community. BUT come the end of your residency you’re kind of kicked to the curb. I had a few incidents while living at the complex and my emails were disregarded. My car was broken into and of course there is no security cameras. My unit had a HORRIBLE ant problem that never got resolved. When they needed to repaint my ceiling they decided to only repaint half of it and was a complete different color. At the end of my leasing time, landscaping was on the property doing work. While most of the time when a vehicle is in the way of others working, residents are usually notified to move that vehicle, in this case I was not. I witnessed my car being plowed over by tree branches being chopped directly on top of my car and dragged off leaving scratches. Once the landscapers were done, the mess was left around my car leaving it hard for me to leave; I notified and emailed the office about this and did not ever receive a response. Be warned that when you move in I advise your take note of EVERY little detail as you move into your unit. Come to the end of my lease I was charged for a tv mount removal that me nor my roommate set up in the common area. Mind you when I moved into my first unit about 2 years ago I was told by a former leasing staff that some units came with a common area mount so I thought nothing of it. Even then, this mount had a lock on it so there was no way for me to use it or take it down. Now that my lease has ended both me and my former roommate and I were charged almost $90 each for the removal of a mount neither of us put on the wall and the leasing office is so sure it was mine and that there was no lock on it even thought I have done my best to email photos with said lock on it. It just goes to show how well they really do walk throughs prior to a new tenant moving in. I even got charged for a “lightbulb replacement” for lights that were not out when I moved out and a “toilet cleaning” for a toilet with rusted chipped paint. It’s funny how my first year when I had no security deposit they charged me with absolutely nothing but now that I submitted one my second year they wanted to make faulty charges. Be so serious. I’ve done my best to work with the office on getting these issues resolved but they have no interest in helping tenants and just want their way and money. Thank you and good luck!"
