"On 2/23/24, my partner and I visited the Encore at Hometown leasing office to inquire about available units. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a leasing agent who seemed disinterested and unprofessional. Instead of offering assistance, she abruptly mentioned being busy and suggested we return another day. This initial interaction left us feeling unwelcome and disappointed, especially when she mentioned she only had 20 minutes left before the office closed after assisting another client. Subsequently, we decided to explore the Venue at Hometown across the street. There, we were warmly welcomed by Kara, who provided exceptional service. Kara patiently answered all our questions, gave us a tour of an available unit, and scheduled a follow-up tour for us. Her professionalism and attentiveness stood in stark contrast to our experience at the Encore. Based on our interactions, it’s evident that the leasing team at the Venue prioritizes professionalism and customer satisfaction. Conversely, our encounter at the Encore left much to be desired, with a lack of proper etiquette and professionalism. Additionally, the presence of numerous piles of dog waste on the grounds was concerning and indicative of a lack of maintenance. This further added to our disappointment with the Encore. Ultimately, after speaking with residents and experiencing firsthand the stark difference in service between the two properties, we have decided to pursue leasing at the Venue at Hometown. We hope this feedback serves as constructive criticism for the management at the Encore, and we encourage them to improve their customer service and property maintenance standards in the future."

"Been living here a over a year because we are across the street where my daughter goes to college. The office does not take care of the residents needs. I tried to get a mailbox key from them for 2 weeks, once they finally made one they refused to leave it inside my apartment. I had to take off work and pick it up during their working hours. I have called into the office numerous about out parking lot lights not working. There are 14 lights with only 7 actually working. This has been going on for 6 months now, same old story, they have them on order. It is very dark at night in this parking lot and I consider it dangerous for my 17 year old daughter getting in and out of her car here. I had a leak under my cabinet 2 months ago, I was out of town and when I got home there was a small drip in the cabinet. Submitted a work order to this day it has never been repaired. I turned the water off myself and just don't use it. I have to admit the maintenance guys usually do a pretty good job. For what I pay for this apartment, $2200.00 a month you would think they would be more concerned to the tenants needs, but they don't. As soon as my daughter gets out of this college, I am out of this place...."

"My experience living here for 14 months was fair. Quiet most nights and neighbors were respectful. However, the first couple months were horrible. Moved everything in only to realize the carpet was infested with fleas from the previous tenant (I did not own a pet and I was getting her chewy subscription my entire lease). I still have scars from the bites on my ankles. Fought with Encore for weeks to fix the issue and was treated very poorly by the leasing assistant (Shaylee?). I moved out temporarily for the cleaning crew to work in the unit, and when I ran by to grab something real quick one day I realized maintenance had left my door unlocked. Wish the beginning was smoother, and the carpets were checked thoroughly before occupation, but the rest of the stay was decent. However, that first month made me lose trust in the Encore team entirely, and I will not be renewing my lease ever again."

"If you want a beautiful, quiet, luxurious apartment you should contact the leasing office right away. I have been living here for 6 months , maintenance orders get fixed right away. And the leasing office has always addressed any concerns I might have professionally and promptly! Not to mention all the great spots to eat and shop for groceries immediately nearby! 5 stars"
