Fleetwood Apartments

"If you are desperate to find a place and don't care about good service and being charged for items that don't function properly, then this is the place for you. Also, if you enjoy being lied to just to get you to start a lease, this is the place for you. Since day one, we have been having issues with this place, and we are only 4 months into our lease. They charge a cleaning fee, and the day we moved, the carpets were full of dog hair we overlooked this, but we wish we hadn't because it just got worse from there. First month we had a major water leak from the bath tub, our front door lock would get stuck, when it rains water comes in thru the front door. I could continue but I'm afraid they are going to retaliate. Just want to warn you so you don't become a victim like us. We moved from out of state and had to trust what we were told, wish we hadn't now we are stuck and being over charged. Also they rent is no where close to what was told over the phone its about 250 more after everything they charge you that is only discussed after you sign the lease. If they were up front about this I would understand but it's the old bait and switch game here."

"I’ve been here for like 4-5 months. My apartment was good and stuff and now it’s falling apartment. I have a hole in my kitchen wall that every time it rain it goes in my apartment . I told maintenance but no update on when it’s gonna get fixed and now one of my bathrooms isn’t doing good. My bath tub every time I bathe the water stays in tub for like 3-4 days and my bath room sink is starting to leak from a hole or whatever and it’s going everywhere. Idk what to do about them. I can’t transfer to a 3 bedroom because they don’t do that. I just hope the apartment I’m in doesn’t fall . This is my second apartment complex with the same problem. It’s upsetting I’m tired of living in apartments that take forever to fix things. I’m married and have 3 kids. My apartment is livable but having problems like this sucks especially with 3 kids"

"So I’ve lived here over a year. Ebonie is no longer here which is unfortunate cause she is a nice person. However During my time here the ac has gone out a number of times and can be out for a couple days. I was on vacation for two weeks and when I returned home it was 90° inside and the air was constantly running meaning that my electric bill went through the roof. They will bring one small window unit that cannot cool the entire apartment. We’ve gone five days with no hot water. A side of one of the buildings fell just from heavy wind. Oh, and you’re forced to pay for an Internet service through the leasing office since THEY have a contract. You are charged, regardless of if you want the service or not. If you do use the service, it does not work well it can be down for three hours at a time, if not longer. Not ideal for anyone that works from home. Wants to do any kind of streaming or anything of that nature. If you want anything done, you basically have to send an email stating that this is your final written request for them to respond or provide a resolution. And if you don’t mind having to constantly pick up trash on the outside of your apartment that you did not put there or if you don’t want dirt from your breezeway tracked inside your home, you’ll have to sweep it after it is mowed because they blow all the debris in your breezeway instead of out. Oh, and the pool did not work last summer, nor has it been opened at all this summer. Not to mention I’ve had 2 horrific experiences with neighbors upstairs that took months to be addressed. I’m talking about noise throughout the night stomping screaming police constantly riding through. Oh not to mention you can’t even lease or bring your own washer and dryer and it took them over 6 months to have one delivered. And when it broke it was 3 weeks before it was fixed. Yes these 5 star reviews as highly suspicious. When the unit upstairs was cleaned out The cleaning lady left a trash bag, upstairs full of food she pulled out of the refrigerator. It sat there for days. Until I noticed a putrid, horrible smell every time I came home and after further investigation it was trash sitting in a vacant apartment for days when it’s over 110 outside. By all means if this is the experience you want then this is the place for you."
