Reviews
"These reviews are weird. The bad ones seem to be about the transportation system and then some strange none sense for the others. I enjoyed reading the review from an actual student. We are just starting this coming school year. I noticed the school itself wasn't the nicest or newest LOOKING school but I have high hopes on education here. The staff I met seem caring and knowledgeable. His old school LOOKED clean and high end but provided my child with a terrible education overall. So I've learned that looks are deceiving. Willing to give this school a chance and come back to update my review. Updating. Not as happy as I hoped I would be with certain people but I still like the concept of the school and my child has learned a lot. Hoping for a much better next year."
"The bus driver didn't even come at all and they sent no warning whatsoever. 7 months later and they did the SAME THING. IT'S ALWAYS ROUTE 4. DO BETTER WE ARE TIRED."
"I would like to take a moment to appreciate Mr. Miller (Transportation Director) and Ms. Sloan (Transportation Supervisor) from the Humble Campus transportation department. My 6 year old had a negative experience with a newly hired bus driver. When I contacted them to inform them of the issues presented by their driver I was received positively and professionally. Mr. Miller and Ms. Sloan created a solution in 24 HOURS! The solution they presented not only served and protected my family but ALL the families of RSPA because it allowed more students to receive transportation services by a person more qualified to handle the needs of the RSPA community. This is the standard I expect and have ALWAYS received at Rhodes School for the Performing Arts. RSPA has ALWAYS served as a safe place for underprivileged children to receive exemplary education and extracurricular activities from administrators and staff members that truly have a heart for the job. I’m proud to have been affiliated with RSPA for almost 10 years. All of my children have attended and will continue to attend because I know, without a shadow of a doubt, that at RSPA they will receive quality education, be instructed by quality professionals, AND be loved and protected... & you can’t find THAT anywhere. 5 stars… HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!"
"DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE! Everything that glitters isn’t gold. The schools administration is more concerned about how they a perceived. They send home notices the day before information is needed. Teachers aren’t certified and clearly have no true passion to teach. I had an SEVERAL incidents with a bus driver on Route 4. From her hanging up in my face, yelling and cursing at the kids and the last straw was her threatening me in front of a bus full of children. I called administration, and no surprise I never received a phone call back. This school is ran by a money hungry family, don’t trust them! My kids will not be returning next school year."
"Over the past 7 years I have dealt with so many different schools (charter, private, Montessori and suburbs schools) this school is hands down the very best. The Rhodes school is a true blessing they cater to her gifts and her talents. This is one of the best decisions I have made thus far when it comes to my daughters education. Attending this school for the 5th grade with less than 2 months left her grades went up immediately and her personality changed like over night. This school has embody the phrase "It takes a village". Based on her very unique situation from her previous school the Rhodes family took my daughter in and nursed her back to my bright vibrant child I once had. The front office is super easy to deal with, teachers volunteer tutoring to all children, and the switch was extremely smooth.I feel that this was a blessing that I needed to save my daughter from Lord knows what. I have only one regret at this moment and its that I didn't enroll her at the very beginning of the year. I am forever grateful that we have now found her home...I have already secured her spot for next year and I'm so excited to see what the future holds."
