Reviews
"In all the years of communicating with Lubbock Housing Authority I've not had the good experience or help these people are suppose to provide. They seem to go out of their way to let you know you are bothering them and they would rather not deal with assisting you in any way whatsoever. Never a friendly greeting when the phone is answered or a "how may I help you." They seem to lack any tact or compassion. One literally has to pry any information needed with no offer of help. They are quick to end all conversations."
"Shut it down. They don't do anything so it's a waste of tax payer money."
"Lady that works in the front and answer the phone is very rude , anybody know her name? She’s the skinny one with dark hair. She is so rude and disrespectful she answers the phone and you can tell she is bothered by the call, also went up there in person and instead of greeting me she just looked me up and down like it was a bother? She’s been there for years can anything be done about this or who can I talk to about here. It’s like she thinks she’s better than us . I honestly don’t see how she still has her job . Every call and every visit you there is so uncomfortable just cause the way she acts and I’m tired of it"
"They are in a convenient place they have great service they trying to help people as fast as they can but it does take a very long time"
"They make porting in or out like pulling teeth. I have used other housing authorities before and never had this problem until now. I understand they deal with all kinds of people but even after you abide by the rules and try to get out of the situation your in, they don't care. You are just another name on a list and they don't care if you end up homeless."
