"Let me start by saying, if I could give a no star or negative stars, I would. The positive reviews on here are likely from employess to make the place look good. I lived here from 2021-2023 and lived in 3 different apartments in this complex. A two bedroom, a one bedroom, and then a two bedroom townhouse. The management when I first moved in was pretty good. I'm not going to say awesome because everywhere will have their down falls. The new management, absolutely sucks. Their communication skills are poor, they lack any type of empathy, and you can definitely see where they pick and choose who they want to help (especially with work orders). Their attitudes are that of teenagers not getting their way. If you have any type of complaint, odds are they will ignore you unless you sit there and pester them about it day after day. The only way they would take us seriously is if they talked to my husband. We had a work order involving a safety hazard for about 6 months and nothing had been said about resolving it even when I've asked after a couple months with no answer. It's still not fixed so check your awnings. Our appliances did not do their job properly and they refused to fix or replace or upgrade the appliances, even with raising rent prices. I never had issues with either of the first two apartments i lived in until we got to the townhouse which also happened to be right when they switched management as well. There were designated parking spots for each apartment to ensure each apartment had at least one spot. They took that away and assigned their own reserved spots at an additional cost. And in the section I was in there were only 5 reserved spots in a section of about 20 apartments, so if you weren't their top pick then you didn't get one. Not even enough reserved spots for each apartment to at least have 1. Neighbors will leave their dogs to bark outside at all hours of the night and day and if it keeps your or your family awake, because it gets obnoxious, and you try to tell the office, they will shrug and say "This is apartment living"(i have an email from management stating that), and then tell you that you're the only tenant complaining, when you actually know for a fact youre not because you know multiple of the tenants around you and talk daily about how messed up everything is here. I know there's noise and dog barking when living in an apartment but I'm talking nonstop barking for hours from the same dogs everyday/night. Where it takes a toll on your mental health. The same applies to neighbors who slam their door so hard it shakes through your whole apartment and stomp so loud it sounds like the floors about to break through when they're actually just next door and not on top of you. Needless to say, coming from a new mom who went through pregnancy and bringing my new baby home to this, rent at your own discretion, don't expect work orders to be finished or even looked at, and especially don't expect ANY help from the office if you aren't on their favorites list."
"Worst place to rent you get overcharged for everything any little inconvenience and you’ll get charged for something or threatened with eviction, you’ll get harassed from the office thru their text messages and god forbid you have an emergency cause they wont answer. Moving out was the best decisions for me and my family. Don't fall for what they offer or the good reviews those are just the employees sure they can be pretty nice when you’re looking into moving in but once you’re settled just know it’ll be hell and all you’ll want to do is move out."
"I have lived here for 2 and a half years since January 2021 and I absolutely love it here. It feels so cozy and I feel at home living here. Amazing views and the property staff and office employees are very friendly and helpful. I plan to live here for another couple of years. My only dilemma is that the rent has increased each year and I still have very old appliances in the kitchen. Other than that, this place is great!"
"As many mentioned by many, the new management is terrible. The written and phone communication is extremely poor, no manners or active listening. Parking lot and common areas are always dirty, one of the pools is disgusting. Management were unable to control parking problem, so they solve it by charge the tenants for reserved parking. No upgrades of any kinds have are accepted, even if you are willing to increase your rent as result. Poor service in general, evidence the total of uncaring and unprofessional service provided by the ladies in the lease office."
"We moved here in 2021 and the management was decent and very involved with the commuinty. They changed management in late 2022 and everything went downhill. wanted to raise our rent by $100 and didn't offer to update any of our outdated appliances. Several people begin moving out after the management change, raising prices that high during an economic crisis is disgusting. We also experienced a water shut off without any warning in November 2022, and a delayed response when our water heater busted in October 2022. 3 days after we moved out, we got word that they were going to get rid of assigned parking and begin charging for "reserved parking". There are better apartments in this area charging the same price for better quality homes. Shame on you Overlook."
