Courtyard by Marriott El Paso Downtown/Convention Center

"This is the most romantic hotel you can go to and it’s family friendly. I would advise going here during the summer because the El Paso Chihuahuas have their game. We’re right across the street at the stadium and you can watch the game from the pool outside the room that we had Looked over the city and it was so pretty as you can see the rooms were nice. We didn’t get room service because it’s so much food around downtown that you would rather want to eat but the food at the hotel as far as snacks are sufficient if you’re looking for a place to stay or just get away as a Staycation, this is it"

"What a horrible place. Check in has no parking so you are forced up a ramp into a garage that you can’t actually enter. The pillars on the building block all visibility when you try to exit into traffic. Interstate 10 is right outside your window and louder than hell. If that ain’t enough, the train goes by every couple of minutes to insure that you can’t sleep. They also surprise you with an $18 parking bill that hat you have no choice but to pay. Never again Marriot."

"Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience with the woman who checked me in. We arrived on Friday, January 5 at 6:30. After driving for 6 hours she was rude, unpleasant and had an attitude. It's incredible to see this poor service at a Marriott. It really puts a damper on one's stay. We expected better."

"We have been trying to find a good place to stay in El Paso for a while now and decided to try this out based on the decent rating. We are however disappointed. We checked in and the lady at the desk was great. When we came back later to chill in the room and watch a movie we noticed the tv was bright purple. We asked the front desk if we could get a new TV or switch rooms and the guy just said the TVs are old and pretty much all of them are purple so there is no point. Also the shower is dirty and chipping away and there are random cords hanging down on the desk. Pretty disappointed with the service and quality of the rooms especially with the price paid and the extra $15 for parking even though there are no cameras or anything in the garage plus it’s open to the public to park in."

"This used to be one of the best Hotels in El Paso what happened? I would definitely avoid this hotel at all cost! I am in shock that they are able to be a Marriott hotel. They are the opposite of everything that Marriott stands for! The front desk employee Leslie needs a retraining on what hospitality stands for. She doesn’t belong in the front desk with her nasty attitude she sets the tone for your stay since she is the first person you encounter and it’s definitely unpleasant to deal with her! I believe the staff is a representation of management and let me just say they are doing a great job representing Mitzy! I’m truly sad of what has become of this amazing hotel. As a Titanium Elite Member I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO AVOID THIS HOTEL! For the amount your going to spend and the mediocre customer service you’re going to get is not worth it! MARRIOTT HOW DO YALL ALLOW THIS AS ONE OF YOUR HOTELS TO REPRESENT YOUR BRAND!!!"
