"This place is a joke. They use the deposit towards carpet cleaning when you move out and add up bogus charges so they don’t have to refund you the deposit yet when you move in the carpets are disgusting and filthy dirty and smell of mold. Had to have them professionally cleaned because they smelled so bad when I moved in and they try to say they cleaned them . Save your money and go somewhere else!!"

"Owners refuse to fix the washing machines. Lived here 3 years, in all 6 of the nearby halls only one washing machine works. 48 people having to use the same washing machine. I have been alerting them of this and they simply do not care. I see now that the owners of van horne estates do not care about their tenants one bit. If they did theyd at least have the decency to label the machines that dont work so they dont steal my quarters. Washing machines are not an amenity at this property."

"I needed a board under the counter to the replaced in the dining room, it connects the dining room and the kitchen. Friendly workers came in and patched it up until the new board comes in to be completely replaced. Pending the board to be replaced though. Service is fast and attentive. Very respectful and communicative. Thank you ☺️"

"When we moved here in January ‘22 a month later ants in the spare bedroom closet. And master bedroom ants around the walls. I would spray them down myself then a scorpion was in spare bedroom (my kids room) called front office lady told me “ we don’t cover pest for scorpions its on the lease “ go out my way for pest services $70. This year end of June to beginning of July I felt for vacation 2 weeks I come back and have a roach infestation in my apartment had to put my entire kitchen in totes and throw away some stuff from my kitchen. I never understood why they came when I clean and clean all the time and I don’t have a lot of stuff. But people told me could be from the neighbors or just the building in general. They sprayed down my place 4 times. Fast forward to Halloween, 2023 I was asleep in my bed (my youngest sleeps with me) I was STUNG by a scorpion on my feet each one. Mind you pest came on Friday Oct 27th. IN MY BED I GOT STUNG ASLEEP!!! I live on the second floor btw. Last picture I captured was in my friend’s building, I was leaving her apartment and saw this one 2 weeks ago."
