"Living in Tanglewood Apartments has been a rather unpleasant experience for me, and I find myself having mixed feelings about it. Over the course of my five-year stay, I encountered three different managers, all of whom exhibited rude behavior and treated tenants disparately. Some even displayed racist tendencies. Having moved between three apartments within the complex – a one-bedroom, a two-bedroom, and a three-bedroom – I consistently faced a common issue: the presence of cockroaches and mice. Despite multiple complaints to the management, no action was taken. Frustrated, I resorted to uploading photos on Google reviews, only to face threats of eviction when I refused to remove them. Even a visit to the main office yielded no concern or resolution for the pervasive pest problem, which was also reported by other tenants. Beyond the pest issue, the apartment complex was marred by criminal incidents occurring right in front of the premises, such as theft, drug-related activities, and strangers knocking on doors. Taking matters into my own hands, I installed surveillance and reported incidents to the police in an effort to improve the living conditions. Having moved out in 2019, I encountered further dissatisfaction as my $300 deposit was never refunded, despite leaving the apartment in a clean state and hiring professional cleaners. Despite numerous attempts through calls and emails, the management neither replied to me nor fulfilled their promise of issuing a refund check in my name. In my opinion, Tanglewood Apartments was managed by dishonest individuals who not only ignored the well-being of their tenants but also engaged in fraudulent practices, ultimately leading to the misappropriation of my deposit. They are, without a doubt, unreliable and untrustworthy."

"For the first time in a long time I have a very positive feeling about living here. Today I witnessed the new property manager out on the property and cleaning up by herself. That has never happened in all the years I’ve lived here. It was so nice to see someone actively take an interest in the property & the upkeep. I am hopeful we have an amazing summer this year! "If you care about yourself please don’t live here. Roach infested apartments and by far the rudest management I have ever encountered. Savana is the worst and never was made me feel welcomed or comfortable. Very sketchy area and no security or security cameras. My car got robbed into. Stay far away from here. Apartment are not well kept and seriously roaches everything disgusting!"

"Savana is a horrible property manager. I have friends who live in the apartments who experience horrible living conditions at these apartments and savana handles it very poorly. She has been talking very unprofessional to my friends who live there and not been caring."

"I absolutely LOVE living here. Savana is always so helpful and kind. Maintenance is ALWAYS on top of their game whenever this is a issue with the apartment, which isn’t often. I live in a one bed/ 1 bath apartment and I’ve always felt at home since day 1 of moving in. If you’re looking for nice and inexpensive place to live in Lubbock, I definitely recommend checking this complex out!"
