Alza Dwellings 1831 Murchison Drive, El Paso, TX 79902

"I’ve been living at Alza Dwellings since August of 2023. Sadly in current day, I am less than satisfied to be living here. First I want to point out, I truly do not put blame on the leasing managers, Melissa & Mariana, as I believe they are trying their best to address the situation. However with saying that, there seems to be no solution other than addressing the resident and sending mass emails to all residents which ultimately amount to nothing more than a slap on the wrist. There are several issues I will outline, however the one that stands out to me the most is the noise level from other residents. Particularly, my neighbor, who puts on music so loud right next to my bedroom which makes me feel like I’m in the bathroom at a house party. I’ve made several complaints, which as I said previously, amount to warnings/violations to this neighbor that ultimately amount to nothing. At this point it seems that these warnings/violations are given out to collect the violation fee however there is no further action that is taken. Other issues that I’ll briefly touch on: the mail box system has not been active up until recently. Residents would have to go to the local post office to get their mail. The phone service here is horrible as the complex is basically on the mountain. I have to go to my kitchen to have phone calls that don’t break up. Sometimes calls won’t even reach me. Internet has been horrible up until recently as well. Also, to my knowledge at least the 1 bedroom units do not have ovens and the space for groceries is very limited. For the price I am paying and the amount of issues that concern me…. The view is beautiful, however it’s simply not worth it. I understand a lot of my issues with this complex are not within the control of the leasing managers. With there being no solutions available, leads me with no alternative other than to not renew my lease. Honestly, this whole experience has turned me off to apartments as a whole and i will be pursuing standalone residences or duplexes in the future."

"I just moved here on the 16th. Everything was excellent and smooth. I love the place and the lady at the office Miss Terry was very nice and welcoming. My apartment didn’t have electricity and I called to the office and I had electricity in less than 10 minutes. This morning I had to call the office and Miss Melissa was very nice and welcoming too. I love my new apartment."

The staff here are sweet people including the nice Property Manager, Melissa Avila who helped us throughout the whole process of finding what we were looking for. The staff was awesome, Melissa the manger property has the property running smoothly and goes above and beyond for the property and the residents! Marianna the leasing manger always has the office with a positive attitude and always greeted me so well making me feel welcomed at all times! Joes the maintenance is fantastic! Always completed my work orders within a 24 hour period with a well done job! I would highly recommend this property!"
