"We consistently had long wait times for maintenance. The entire year we lived at a Grassano property the pool was open for a total of less than a week. At one point a roofing repair was partially completed, but the contractors left nails and other detritus all over our yard which posed a risk to our dogs. When we moved out, they sent us a bill for excessive repairs without applying our deposit and never responded to our emails requesting they apply the deposit. Then they just sent the debt to a collection agency despite our attempt to communicate with them. Definitely a predatory landlord. Edit for a response- Grassano Properties does charge pet deposit which we paid and were not applied. If you don't have records of our work orders or our email, that is a reflection of poor record keeping. We submitted multiple work orders throughout the time we lived there some of which were never resolved despite follow-up phone calls to the office."

"Oakridge Apartments Building outdated, constant issues with plumbing and power outages. Maintenance responded when they wanted to and would close maintenance tickets without fixing the issue. The unit was not completely turned over upon my receiving it. The main bathroom was dirty, the light fixtures were hanging off, the carpet was coming up for the floor and the bathtub was stained. The carpet was not professionally cleaning but they require you to pay to have it professionally cleaned upon moving out or you’ll be charged a fee. Prior to moving in management was rude and delayed my application until the day I was scheduled to move from Iowa to Texas because my lease in Iowa didn’t end until the day of my move. I basically drove 13 hours with a packed car not having a placed secured. They have an overpriced admin and pet deposit which is not worth the money based on the quality of the units. Instead of renovating the units they built a new main office building. The units look like the 1980s and the main office building looks like 2023."
