"Park East recently got some new management and they have been steadily improving our living arrangements. They've been fixing issues we have been dealing with for months, renovating the public areas to be more modern and beautiful and they are very eager to hear any suggestions we have for improvement. One of the staff members, Lili, was a huge help with this too. She was friendly, open and eager to help with any questions or issues I had. The only reason why I am giving it 4 stars is because the manager before our latest one was terrible and not as great to work with. Overall, if you choose Park East, you won't face too many issues that you wouldn't find at any other apartment complex."

"STAY AWAY, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS awful management, awful safety, awful maintenance, awful mail system, awful move in. non sanitary All of their good reviews seem to be from giveaways and not actual experience. To start off, one of the biggest issues here is safety. They’re going to say that crime has no address, but this place opens their doors for crime and does not try anything at all. The gates are constantly left open or broken, both around the building and in the garage. None of the doors are locked, when they should be taking advantage of keys, it’s all already there. In my 1 month living here my vehicle has been broken into while I went inside for 30 minutes in the “gated and surveillance” garage. Park east has not wanted to cooperate with that or anything else. Yesterday I witnessed a man that was going door to door on vehicles trying to get in. On top of that random people that are not tenants here have walked through the halls, in the garage, knocked on our door. Second the building is disgusting. There’s constantly a smell of trash that is suffocating, the hallways have never been swept or dare I say mopped. Mold growing in the ceilings, cracks and holes everywhere, signs not hanging, lights out. They have had more than 2 elevators down for over a month and don’t care to call someone out to fix them. The maintenance here will take 1-2 months to process your request. Upon move in our unit was not cleaned, still had trash and items from the previous tenants. It was filthy… also at move in we were given a key that did not work. Still to this day we are trying to get them to do something about that key. Every time we go down to the office they give us the exact same excuse. That their system is down or they are missing a part that is being mailed, and that we should come back the next day. That has been going on for 3-4 weeks. It is unsafe and extremely annoying to swap keys with your roommate constantly when you do not have the same schedule. The mail system is absolutely awful, they lose your packages after they’ve been delivered, give you very minimal hours to pick things up that not a lot of people can work with. Take your Id???? When you have a literal confirmation email. The place is in constant “renovation”, but no one is ever working and it’s been the same way since last year. Management does not care about this place or the people in it. Every time I go to the office I see someone with valid complaints that the staff gets upset with. Nothing has changed and something needs to… I could go on and on about this place, there is many more issues than just the ones here…"

"Just moved my daughter into her apartment and so disappointed. The building was filthy! You had all summer to get it clean and refreshed for new students and, well, it was disgusting to see how they are going to be living. Seriously? To top it off, her key has stopped working every day we have been there! What happens when it's late at night and she can't get in? No excuse for the lack of maintenance and cleaning services to help these kids start out on a great journey. Yet, we haven't been given any reduction in costs based on getting far less than we were told. Updates? None! Old furniture, filth, and run down everything. ***One month later and it's only gotten worse! Car broken into and building won't provide camera footage to police. Gates are kept unlocked all the time and my daughter has witnessed many people who are drugged up hanging out in the hallways. Key STILL doesn't work so she and her roomie must share. The building is FILTHY! Smells disgusting- looks unsanitary. If you try to call the office to speak to someone, they have the ringer on silent and refuse to answer. The ceiling in her unit is swelling, so there must be a leak above them and they can't get anyone to respond. Oh, and let's not even mention the lack of a mailroom and the fact that my daughter's delivered packages have disappeared! This is the WORST PLACE EVER for students to be living. So disappointed."

"Place would be great if the parking garage elevator wasn’t broken and I didn’t have to haul up stairs at 730am. The gates also don’t work great, and my spot gets taken all the time. Also really need maintenance and have been waiting a decent amount of time, I see/have heard that’s an issue for multiple people, even at the bloc which is the same management. Definitely needs some help with painting on walls by elevators and the doors (at least on my floor) but it’s only the beginning of year. I hope there is improvement soon. I also have tried to call the office on multiple occasions and am always sent to voicemail, but the inbox is full. Otherwise, pool is beautiful, my apartment is nice, and the area is pretty good."
