"Great rates on their apartments and friendly staff that make an effort to fix any issues you have. The place is always clean and the landscaping makes Wildwood feel like home. Highly recommend this place over others."
"horrible experience living here the management was awful. we had someone in our apartment that threatened to fight all three roommates daily and they said “well until he does something then y’all have to stay there or pay $500 to move another unit because we can’t make him move.” that is just one example of the many terrible experiences i had living there, mind you we complained about this for months and even had someone pay to move out a new guy come in who experienced the exact same thing and yet the story never changed. AWFUL PLACE TO LIVE. ps if something breaks (like your ac in the middle of summer) don’t worry they’ll come “fix” it, it just takes them 3 months so hopefully you too can find someone to let you sleep on their couch:)"
"Overall, the actual apartment at Wildwood is good and the apartment functions with the basics. However, it is almost impossible to meet with anyone other than the front desk individuals for any items, even after the front desk individuals do not handle the requested issue after multiple attempts. (Which is most likely not their fault as they are usually kind and I’m assuming are just the messenger). I’ve requested to speak with a property manager or assistant manager multiple times regarding my cable in my unit which has not worked for almost 3 months now. I have attempted to work with the cable provider here and have been given the run around by them. So I then started working with the actual property and they have been equally as useless. One of the individuals at the desk stated to me after I said my cable hasn’t worked for over 2 months “unfortunately we have to work with them so you have to work with them too, so there really isn’t anything we can do except put in a work order”. While this may be true, a property manager or assistant manager could personally call the cable company and put some teeth into the request by having them get their act together as apparently the cable provider does not care what I say. Overall, wildwood would be rated at least 4 stars in my book if they seemed to care about the fact that an amenity in which I pay for hasn’t worked for nearly half of my lease period thus far. But alas, Wildwood does not seem to care if an advertised amenity doesn’t work."
"When we moved in the place was disgusting. We cleaned it and moved in because the complex was not taking responsibility. The parking lot is completely disgusting and I could go on and on about things we have taken pictures of. But now, this is too much. Myself and my daughter have called multiple times to speak with a member of management about property management employees coming into her apartment unannounced, unscheduled, and at all hours of the night. It’s terrible when you send your child to college and you have to worry about the safety of your children from the property management employees. They have come in after 10 pm at night. Another time unannounced while one of the girls was alone in the apartment and walking back to her room in a towel so she felt completely violated when a man opened the door on her and never knocked. The girls have cameras in the apartment and it’s all on footage. We have waited for calls back for days and it doesn’t appear the property management is willing to call to try to resolve the violation of their own lease so I am filing a complaint with legal services. But it really is a shame that things can’t be resolved in a timely manner by a phone call. The Texas Attorney General’s office utilizes consumer complaints to monitor trends and will take action against businesses when deemed appropriate and when it’s in the public interest. So that is my next step also. Tenants have rights as well. Edit added 9/4/23: after leaving the review in hopes of getting a call back to resolve the concerns, it has been a week and I still have yet to receive a call. 10/27/23: Since I can’t leave a second review, I still do not recommend. I never received a call from management from my previous concerns. Even though I’ve left MULTIPLE messages. Today, my daughter returned to her apartment and maintenance went in while they were gone but never locked the door. So the apartment was left unlocked. When we tried to call the office, the girl hung up the phone and did not care of our concern. I would give less than 1 star if I could. Terrible experience."
"Wildwood is 100% the best student living complex in Lubbock. Management, maintenance, and staff care so much about their residents and making it a good living experience for them. It is student living so there are some loud parties sometimes and people don't do the best job cleaning up after themselves so sometimes the courtyards and pools are dirty and have trash but the staff does their best to keep things clean. The distance from campus is worth it. I have also never felt unsafe here even when taking my dogs out when its dark. I've signed 3 times at wildwood and I'm about to sign for my 4th year and I recommend this complex to anyone looking for a new apartment."
