"Best price on west side of access to nearly every part of Lubbock within 10-15 minutes and good stores in the surrounding area and schools."
"Past comments on here says they fixed the water shut offs, LIES. I got loud neighbors not only that but this place just like others sneak in little fees and say they ain't little fees it's part of the place. BULL. No pool (shows there's one but there's not) and place is never cleaned EXPECIALLY the laundry room. The grass got to my hips before And that is a dangerous hazard it's bad enough when my friends come they said it's bad. They charged me for bed bugs when I got a new sofa and bed I had to toss when they should have fixed the issue before I moved in and it took them for me to get mad. They should have paid for it NOT me because it should have been delt with. Not only that but all over this place there is meth addicts and creeps that want your body. I only like this place cause it's close to work but Im looking into finding a new place."
"Lived here for less than 2 years. Started off with the 1bedroom flat across the street from the office. I absolutely LOVED it there. Neighbors were sweet and everyone got along. It felt very private, quiet and peaceful. I upgraded to the 2 bedroom 2-story townhome and loved it, it was nice, spacious and surprisingly beautiful and presentable. Due to the way the structures are, they'll shut off water to work on things so if the water gets shut off it means someone's maintenance call is being worked on. Thankfully within the past year it only happened 2-3 times while I was at work so it was never an issue for me. Cons after moving to townhome: loud neighbors from building right across from my unit that consisted of fights, drama and pure sketchiness usually at 3/4 a.m. (haven't seen them in two months, hopefully gone), pool was closed for past 2 years, I assume due to covid so it wasn't really a bother, your car WILL be dented if you park in the crowded areas so I suggest to park under carport to prevent that. People will swing their doors open and not care, especially when their cars are old and their exterior already messed up."
"I have been here for at least 9 years. It is very quiet and I have not seen a bug in that entire time. I will get a flying insect sometimes when I leave my door open in spring and early fall. Every thing is well maintained and I very seldom need to call maintenance. When I do call, I have always gotten a prompt response. The staff is very friendly and this is a very good neighborhood. The apartments are clean and safe. Since I have been here the owners have replaced most of the water pipes, painted, put up new siding and repaved the parking lot."
"I have lived here a year and my brother 3 and every single month that I have been here I get multiple texts about water shut offs. On top of that we called multiple request to get things fixed and they never got fixed. We would be told an order would be put in but when I went to the leasing office last week to give out notice the new lady informed me that there was nothing only two actual orders out in when I know we called in more than that. We would literally have to break our selves out of the bathroom because the door would stick. When the maintenance man finally came we showed him the bathroom door and my door that never fully shut. He said he would order a new door and install it and never did. We had a leak in our kitchen and our kitchen would flood and it took them weeks to fix that and now the floor is ruined by the kitchen sink. We have never ever been late on rent and always paid on time and never gave any problems. We found another apartment and we asked Farrar West if it would be at all possible to let us out of our lease a month early because of all the inconveniences and they would not. I understand that this is a lease but you would figure with all the stuff that we have put up with and still paid everything on time they would take some sort of consideration. I’m sorry but I would not recommend this property to anyone. Your money would be better spent else where."
