"Went there for the antiques woman at the front maybe owner ? Kept on following me and my kids in the store insinuating it’s a risky biz bringing the little ones along . Now I know better not to drag undisciplined kids to such places but my children are not and I can proudly say that . They were not touching anything . So yeah not going back ."
"1st off..Great jewelry and old trinkets! But still cant bring myself to pay $35 for an old Blackfoot or Crosby Stills and Nash lp though. Better vinyl prices in Houston. They said that their lps start at five or ten dollars. Literally didn't find any of those. Or at least those records weren't in a genre that I would buy, maybe. Even an old Isley Brothers album full of cover songs was $35. Just crazy. Even in good shape, those old lp's should be about 15 to 17 bucks max. About 5 bucks in bad/mediocre shape. I guess if you're not wanting to make the thirty minute trip in town... and are willing to spend twice as much...."
"There is plenty to look at. Great collection. Records and movie posters are impressive. I gave a 2☆ rating because when I first walk in there was a woman that obviously work there or was the owner that didn't even acknowledge me. I walk around and was really interested in three items which totalled a little over $500 and that was the sell price. Didn't have a problem with the pricing but the associate. I watched her to see if maybe she was distracted when I can in and didn't notice someone walking in the door but she ignored everyone. NOT A GOOD BUSINESS MODEL. I decided to keep my wallet in my purse and spend my money else where. They must do a really, really well to be able to act like that and keep their doors open. Too many other opportunities for antique shopping that provide a better customer experience."
"Great store, location, and products. My significant other and I have been looking into buying an original movie poster from them for 7 months and finally decided to purchase one this week. We made an appointment with the owner Harry and were very excited to meet and do business with him. He was late to our appointment and we had a busy afternoon so asked the other owner, his wife, when we were to expect him and she rudely replied "he will get here when he gets here" as though our time was valueless. This disappointed us to be treated like this by the owner as serious customers about to make a large purchase. The real disappointment came when she started talking poorly about us to another customer in the store. Made us feel unwelcome and unappreciated. Will not be doing business with people who do not understand that customers deserve respect and are the reason they have businesses. Would suggest anyone considering checking this place out to keep that in mind. Very sad because this place is a treasure and there is nothing else like it in the Katy area."
"The antiques part was ok, but the movie memorabilia part is amazing. I got some great lobby cards at good prices, and really had a hard time choosing with so many available. If you like posters and lobby cards, they have a great variety. It was a lot more fun to shop here than to plow through all of the bs and reproductions on eBay and similar sites. You could look for days. Really, really worth the trip."
