Courtyard by Marriott San Antonio North/Stone Oak at Legacy

"I had to come on here and rave about Haley. From the moment she spoke, she was a blessing. Talk about going above and beyond for a potential customer. Not knowing if I was going to book or not she was a pure example of customer service that is far and few between now days. If Marriott doesn’t know how my h of an asset she is to their facility, I pray they find out and soon. Thank you Haley for simply being you!!"

"As a Marriott Rewards member (because the account is in my husband's name), I wasn't really impressed. The woman who checked us in was somewhat snarky. From the comment about my last name and my husband's last name not being the same to my question about the credit card being used. Also, most front desk representatives will point out certain things to customers... she just wasn't that helpful. Other than that, I don't usually have anything to complain about. The hotel itself was nice. The inside lobby and bar looked very clean, and the outside was well maintained. I don't like the fact that as soon as you exit the main entrance, you walk past the sitting area for smoking. I walked through a cloud of smoke a couple of times. Maybe consider moving it a little further from the outside main entrance. As for the room, it was nice, but I noticed a couple of things. There were some sort of smudges on the back of the door that were a bit gross, but other than that, it appeared to be clean. The hair dryer was also finicky. It wouldn't work at first even after checking the GFCI outlet. Also, I would plug in my hair straightener & it would shut off after a couple mins. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again. The location worked well for my family, and the price was reasonable."

"It feels like this hotel needs a redo. The room is very dated. The light in the corner of the room does not work and I asked for it to be fixed, and it has not been fixed. I asked for the room to be refreshed and it was not done. The thermostat in the room did not work. Maintenance came up to the room and said the thermostat has been disconnected. How am I supposed to know that? It just seems to me that customer care is no longer important at this location. There is a hilton across the street that I am thinking of trying at my next stay."

"Overall, the hotel is what is to be expected of a Courtyard. The lobby and restaurant were above average, rooms and housekeeping were average. The staff was excellent, especially Kay. After an evening away, I returned to a dirty room. The hotel requires the guest to request housekeeping which I did before I left for my event. After chatting with Kay, she offered and apology, provided towels and compensated me with additional points. Thank you to the Manager for empowering the staff. Thank you to Kay for your kindness and understanding."
