Motel 6 San Antonio Medical Center South 7500 Louis Pasteur Drive, San Antonio, TX 78229

"The only redeeming quality was the location. At a glance, the room appears clean. However, once I started to use different areas I uncovered so much filth on the greasy remote, built-up dirt/dust on the vent of the in-room A/C unit, remnants of food in the microwave and fridge, hairs on “clean” towels, grime on bathroom outlet and all the light switches. The worst were the 4 cockroaches I found crawling on the bed over the course of my 2-night stay. The shower curtain was torn in several places, the sink was cracked, and the threads of the shower head were so worn that water sprayed everywhere. The staff offered no help and even hesitated to give me new/“clean” towels. The security lock was loose and missing a screw, which was disconcerting for my safety. I do not recommend this place. I will not return."

"Staff were gross and unprofessional. The housekeeper in charge yelled and rudely confronted me when I asked for clean bedsheets and then asked me to leave and look somewhere else for lodging. Plus they made us wait an hour at the lobby because there was no one there, when doing check in. Room smelled like urine all over. Toilet seat wasn’t properly attached, bathroom sink was leaking and had tape all over. Bugs all over the place too. Tv wasn’t working, super loud people at the lobby, you could hear slamming doors and chitchatting at night. Terrible experience!"

"This hotel has been around for so long and there's a good reason why. It's so so close to Methodist hospital. Literally across the street. So if you're in need of a very affordable hotel very close to Methodist Hospital and Children's hospital, this one is it. It has not been updated in quite a while. So do not expect luxury for a budget price. But they have clean bathrooms and it is quiet. We have used this hotel over the years and will continue to."

"This Motel 6 most certainly did not leave the light on for us! Every other lightbulb was intentionally not turned on, the big Motel 6 sign was not lit up, and the reception area and hallways were very dark as well as the rooms. we asked why half of the lights were not lit up and they said it was to save on electricity. We found a long black hair in our bed, which communicated that the sheets had not been changed. if there was a way to give negative stars, I would’ve done it!"

"Greeted by a wonderful man at the front desk. He was very nice and patient. Was surprised by a $50 deposit that will be refunded in 3-7 business days but upon reading the fine print found out it was actually up to 2 weeks Upon walking down the hallway there was an awful stench. We came here to take a shower because our hot water in our apartment has been out for 2 months. We aren't sleeping here. After taking the shower we smelled worse than we did before we came in due to the stench. When my wife stepped into the tub to shower, she immediately slipped and fell due to the unsafe conditions in the bathrub. We will be pursuing damages against your company for this. The rooms smell horrible, they are not clean and I will never, ever, book a room here again. If you can handle the smell of moldy dead rats feel free to stay here. You would expect more from a business in the medical center but it is a motel 6 after all. Once again, the man at the desk was very friendly and he did an excellent job handling an upset customer and he is too good for this place."
