"Worst attorney in Texas. Steals and lies. Unethical and uneducated. Shows up to hearing in suit that doesn’t fit and completely folds for the other side. Makes up hours he didn’t work with nothing to show for it. Says the retainer is refundable but uses it all in under one day pretending to work. Then types in his own handwriting altering original contract and puts non refundable himself. Total theft. His entire office lies and he will waste hours talking about his and his family’s alcohol problems that you have to pay for. If you want to win get a different attorney. If you want someone smart and professional, get a different attorney. If you want to pay almost 6k for a slob to play pretend he’s your guy! He made a total fool of himself in the court room."

"Unprofessional and uncaring. As stated waiting for an itemized bill. We never determined how much we would pay, and as a business owner who allows a customer to say what they are going to pay? That shows Jerry unprofessionalism! All we did was ask about a $300 extra charge and what our retainer went to since we paid out of pocket for our home study which was $1000 and for "Bill" which was $450. Along with other fees like notaries and finger prints that is not worth mentioning. I have several emails I sent to Jerry's office with no response for 4 months and his office staff blame each other or are never in the office working but I guess that is how Jerry runs his office. Our finger prints got sent to their email and Jerry and his staff let that email sit for 6 months! When they called and asked about getting our finger prints done I had confirmed they were sent to her emails months ago and I had left a message stated that information months ago. Again they were not eager to do anything with our case and this office has a serious problem with communication. Jerry will make all the excuses for his way he and his staff handled our case, and proves his unprofessionalism and lack of compassion."

"Jerry is the most unprofessional, uncaring, and untrustworthy lawyer. Please Amarillo do not waste your time or money on his business. He and his staff dont return emails or calls. A simple adoption case took over 4 years to get done. And not to mention to get the paperwork completed I had to go to the court myself to get them since my “lawyer” never gave me a copy that he promised. I also had to send paperwork to the state of Texas myself again since Jerry or his office staff didnt do it. But needless to say with the help from another lawyers office everything is changed over for my child who is now 18 years old! We have the birth certificate without any help from Jerry. Please dont believe the reviews posted all the good reviews are from his close friends and family. And i can bet Jerry will reply to this post with i didnt finish your case because of payment. Well we paid $2000 and within 3 months Jerry and his office staff had not even done anything with our case. When we asked Jerry for an itemized bill he got hostile rude and embarrassing in the court house! I am still waiting to answers to my questions, and an itemized bill. Thank you for making a special moment for our family a dramatic one with your unprofessional temper. Do NOT USE THIS “lawyer”!"
