SpringHill Suites by Marriott El Paso Airport 1300 Airway Boulevard, El Paso, TX 79925

"Here for 3 nights. Made my reservation about a week ago. Get here to check in and the front desk lady Jessica can't get me checked in. Seems they overbooked and were supposed to call me. So without notification they changed my room type and the amount went up $90 per night (convenient). While Jessica was trying to get me in a room I searched and of course there is nothing available anywhere nearby if I wanted to change hotels and it was 11 pm. So Jessica put me in a room but couldn't give me a key. The bartender had to ket me in. 20 minutes later Jessica called the room to notify me I could stay in the room for the night but Alex the manager would make me change rooms in the morning. Of course I have already unpacked. I'm a Diamond Hilton Honors member and I'm doing the Marriott Platinum challenge because Hilton has just gone down hill. This hotel is not the best way to start my conversion. Jessica and the bartender, I believe his name was David are extremely helpful and courteous. I have no complaints about them. The room is nice but the hotel has a faint dog urine odor. I think its extremely shady to change a reservation, raise the rate, not notify the customer, and make them switch rooms. Won't be staying here again. Might just stay with Hilton after this stay."

"My family and I were on our way from California to Texas. At about 4 am, we decided it was best to stop and get some rest. We ended in El Paso, but we weren't sure if we could book a hotel at the hour. The first hotel that we stopped at was not taking reservations at that hour. Desperate for sleep, we called SpringHill Suites. Carina was kind and immediately welcomed us to drive over to book our rooms. Upon arrival, Carina and Jessica greeted me with such warmth and kindness We were given the military discount and she offered us late check-out as well. Jessica got us some extra towels and bedding for the sofa beds without me even asking. We were welcomed to eat breakfast. Our rooms were very clean and so comfortable with beautiful views of the mountains. Because of the quality of this hotel and the impeccable service (100/10 stars) that Carina and Jessica provided, I am going to join as a Marriott member."

"The hotel staff were very courteous and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was also very quiet which allowed me to sleep. The breakfast was very tasty. I will definitely go back."

"This hotel is convenient if you are traveling on I-10 and want to stay on the east side of El Paso. Easy on and off. Exiting Airways Blvd into the hotel is a bit confusing in that there are no signs but it is clearly visible behind the other businesses so there are several ways to meander to the hotel parking lot. It's a quiet, clean hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. WiFi works well and breakfast is complementary."
