"A few years back I felt a bit of pain in the neck and my old office chair broke. I did quite a bit of research and decided to purchase the Freedom Chair by Humanscale at Relax The Back in their NW Austin store. Sierra of RTB took the order and advised me to ask my doctor for the prescription to take the tax off. Which I did and that made the very nice chair in exquisite orange to be a little cheaper, but still over $1k. The amazing thing is that after 4-6 months of using the chair the neck pain I felt when sitting or driving just went away! However, by some minor error in the chair with every sitting on it the pin that holds it on the wheel assembly pulled out and I took the chair to Relax The Back where they put the pin back using a rubber mallet. So I bought a mallet and hammered the pin back every few weeks. When I have recently visited the same Relax The Back store to purchase something else I complained to Nathan of RTB how one probably shouldn't have to do that on chair with the $1,400 price tag. He asked for the chair serial number which I emailed to him and lo and behold today after a few weeks I was surprised by a big box FedEx left at my doorstep with a complete brand new Freedom chair! Now, that is the customer service level I have never experienced before for something this expensive! With this kind of customer experience why would I buy anything they carry anywhere else! Thanks Nathan! The photo is of the original chair equipped with soccer training markers as improvised cat feet shields/protectors over the castors. And the new one is exactly the same!"

"Nathan and everyone at the store has been great! I decided to replace my 20 year old office chair since I’d been having trouble with neck and shoulder pain and after a ton of research decided I couldn’t spend as much as my top choices without sitting in them. I was down to 2 options and Nathan patiently and knowledgeably showed me the one I’d researched plus other options. It cost a little more, but I chose a color to complement my house. I decided to have it shipped to the store and assembled there so I could just drop by and have Nathan fit it to me, which I highly recommend. When I stopped by to be fitted on a Friday afternoon the owner happened to be there and he personally loaded my chair in his car and brought it to my house so I didn’t have to wait for my scheduled delivery the following week. Now that is customer service! And my pain from the old chair is gone so well worth the cost!"

"What a great store! Beyond all the wonderful chairs, beds and other things to alleviate your pain, the staff is very knowledgeable, laid back, and infinitely patient in working with you to answer all your questions and make sure you understand everything. I have cancer and chemo has devastated me, I have lost a huge amount of weight and can no longer sit comfortably for more than a few minutes in any conventional chair or sofa. The Zero Gravity chair is amazing, and gives me a whole new lease on life - when I sit in it none of the aches and pains bother me. It is so easy to adjust and I find myself often making little tweaks to the position to get just the right feeling. Nathan spent a lot of time with us to show and explain all the different variation of the chair and help us get the one just right for us. The quality of the chair is really good, and the leather upholstery looks and feels great, although when it is this comfortable I would have bought one if the only option was pink and purple plaid. We have friends who have had a couple of Zero Gravity chairs for 20 years and still love and use them every day....I am so thankful they recommended Relax the Back to us. They had a good variety of the chairs in stock and delivered mine the next day...doesn't get better than that. The delivery crew was great, unpacked and assembled the chair in the driveway, working cheerfully in near triple digit heat. Then they carefully carried it in and set it down gently in my living room and got it all set up and checked out. I've been in it ever since. My new favorite store in all of Austin!"
