Woodbridge Apartments

"Only posting this bc this was my first time living on my own and I thought I would have a good experience with Woodbridge. I had numerous issues the entire time I lived there, which ultimately led to me paying out the rest of my lease early and leaving. - apartment was dirty when I moved in, had random paint everywhere, cigarette butts on the patio. - there was a brown recluse sighting in my apartment. I vacated my apartment for the day so pest control could inspect my apt, and when I came back (no one ever contacted me when I could come back, so I ended up sitting in the parking lot with my dog until the pest control company left) no one had entered my apartment. I called the front office to ask why, and they said it was because they didn't have a key for my unit and that I should just keep an eye out and let them know if I see anything - my AC unit worked horribly. I let them know and they told me that all the AC units will only give a 20° difference. (I asked my neighbor if hers was working and she said they had no issues and her apartment stayed at 72°) I had a thermometer set up and there were many days during the summer it would get up to 87° in my apartment, which caused my dog to get sick a few times - when I went to talk to the property manager about moving out early, she made a comment that they would make sure to charge me for more things at move out since I was leaving early. She then followed it up saying it was a joke, but given the circumstances it didn't feel that way"

"Lived here from 2021-2022 and would highly caution everyone to find somewhere else to live. As everyone has said, maintenance problems simply don’t get addressed when you make the request. Also, at one point they replaced our sliding back door in some “renovations” but it was never able to lock again after that, posing a huge security concern. We’re so lucky that we got out of there when we did and got our security deposit back because that place is a complete mess."

"I lived here for 2 years I had maintenance come in my house without leaving a note thereby violating the lease agreement multiple times they refused to fix leaks they refused to tell me who came in my house after money came up missing, they are now attempting to keep my security deposit illegally. Do not move here. The Manager's name is Carla Gore, she thinks because she has worked in property Management forever that she knows everything and honestly doesn't know her head from her feet she has gone through three different maintenance supervisor since she has started about a year and a half ago this place is a horrible horrible circus do not move here. Maintenance is rude comes into your house reeking of cigarettes lies to you just to tell you whatever to get you out of ths face."

"Moved into this complex 2 weeks ago and I absolutely love it here. It’s a safe, quiet and very convenient area. Tasha made this a very smooth move in. The unit I moved into was renovated, the only issue I had was the outlets - which then Ben fixed THAT DAY - & the bedroom ones weren’t so I called again & Ben also fixed that right away too. He also pointed out that there was something wrong with our toilet & fixed that as well. The only other issue I have at the moment is how loud the AC is lol, but you get used to it. The internet gives out sometimes and if you game a lot, it’s hard to get a connection during the evenings. My dog loves the fenced in patio!!! Other than that, so far so good here. I know they are working on the maintenance issue- i’ve seen the bad reviews about it but it seems like it is getting better!"

"My husband & I were really excited prior to moving in as it looks beautiful from the outside. The location is very convenient, quiet & safe.. as soon as we moved in, there were issues. Renovations were incomplete. When we tell them an issue, it takes the absolute longest to get resolved. It took months after move in for our front door to get replaced. Any time we asked about the door, we’d get excuses like the wrong size door was ordered, delivery taking long, etc.. This is completely frustrating & we no longer look forward to staying here once the lease is over. Also, I cannot get over the loudness of the AC/Heat.. wish that was addressed during the tour. The whole summer, we avoided turning on the AC until bedtime, just to not hear the loud noise it makes. Now it’s getting colder, we turned on the heat, just to find out it makes the same loud noise. Recently as well, there has been a major pest issue. We are NOT people who leave dirty dishes out, food uncovered, or anything of that sort, so this is something we had no control of. It is absolutely disgusting, traumatic, & has been addressed a couple times. Pest control came weeks later. It has been tragic, and it’s only been 5 months since move in."
