Reviews
"I read the some google reviews before I visited the garden. Maybe my expectation was too high. It is a very small garden without craftsmanship. Both men and women bathrooms were out of order. I love those aged Asian pine trees. They are so beautiful."
"The Japanese Garden in Hermann Park, Houston, is undeniably one of the city's most enchanting paradises. While not vast in size, it exudes a heavenly and Zen-like ambiance that captures the essence of Japanese gardens. The trail, flanked by bamboo trees, immerses you in a setting reminiscent of Japanese temples and gardens, creating a serene and amazing experience. As March approaches, the anticipation of cherry blossoms adds to the charm, promising a breathtaking spectacle. Currently, the scenery is already captivating, and with the blossoms in full bloom, it's expected to be truly mesmerizing. Two small bridges connect different parts of the garden, spanning a tranquil river inhabited by large and beautiful Koi fish. Observing these majestic creatures gracefully swimming brings a profound sense of peace. The garden also hosts various animals, including turtles, dogs, and turkeys, contributing to the overall picturesque scene. This Japanese Garden stands out as one of Houston's best, showcasing Asian culture with its authentic features. I highly recommend a visit to experience the tranquility and beauty it offers. Personally, I'm eager to return and immerse myself once again in this delightful corner of Houston's cultural landscape."

"A scenic zen garden to relax and unwind! Enjoy exploring the beautiful garden, scope the wildlife, or relax at any of the benches placed throughout. What a great way to step back from the busy city life and de-stress in nature. There are restrooms on site and trash cans available."
